Fog Whisperer Program Shouldn't Exist (and it really shouldn't be hard to figure out why)
Developers' attempt to make a clique of pet streamers. Trying to make streaming DbD an exclusive privilege for a select few which it never will be and never should be. Trying to decide who is and isn't actually representative of the community which is THE no true Scotsman fallacy. Literally exists just to be a badge of approval that they can threaten to revoke. The devs just want leverage over streamers. It's not symbiotic, it's parasitic. Need I go on?
Nothing against the people who are fog whisperers, other than they perpetuate a bad system, and I might even go so far as to say that anyone who's anyone isn't a Fog Whisperer, but that's not really true. Just that every content creator would be a better one if the Fog Whisperer program wasn't holding them back.

No one is stopping you from streaming the game without being a fog whisperer.

being a fog whisperer shouldn't hold streamers back tbh, they gain nothing from being a fog whisperer except some auric cells to promote new content , some dlc or skin giveaways and sometimes they might get early news on what's about to come.
so i don't understand why would anyone care about being a fog whisperer lol if someone like otz would get removed from it for some reason he'd still be kicking ass with thousands of viewers every stream (that he made and not bhvr) making a lot of money he and others like him couldn't care less.
a lot of those fog whisperers are not even widely known so it's not like it helped them much.
