######### survivors who work with the killer
More needs to be done when reporting a player i just don't think enough is done about it like does anything even get done about it im getting sick of ######### survivors teaming up with the killer like when its just the two of you left they try to get sympathy off the killer by working with them they bring the killer to you or they deadset follow you around vaulting over pallets i had one follow me around flashing his tourch at myself and the killer to give up my location its wrecking the game like who wants to play with an idiot like that

Yeah, that's a real d-move.
Take solace in the fact that when this happens, I thank the snitch by giving them the hook and he ratted out one he hatch or gate :)

It depends on how you play the game. Are you hiding in corners and bushes all game and not helping your fellow survivors get the gens done? If so, they see you as a problem and try to get you killed so you'll learn to be a better teammate in future matches.

You dropped these . . . . . . . .

Welcome to a huge problem with DbD: when there are only two survivors left, the game is a mess. It is against the rules for survivors not to work on gens for an extended period of time. If all remaining survivors stealth around the map trying to hide from the killer while not progressing the objective, it is a bannable offense (this has been stated by the devs multiple times, it's not my opinion). However, if one person is working on gens while the other stealths around the map, this is technically okay because a survivor is attempting to progress the objective and so the killer has a reasonable chance to locate them.
In this situation, it's very understandable why the survivor who's playing the game would get upset at the one stealthing around avoiding the objective and the killer. If the one attempting the objective instead decided to also play totally selfishly and go into hiding, then it becomes a reportable offense.
In other words, don't be the survivor who stealths around the map when there are only two left. You'll make enemies. When I play killer, if I notice that I keep finding one of two remaining survivors, I will comb the map for however long it takes to find the one hiding. I did that yesterday to a Claudette dressed in black on the damn swamp. She was sticking to the walls, crouching behind rocks while letting the poor Ash take all the aggro, not healing him or helping him with gens.
If you are attempting to do the objective and not stealthing around the map selfishly, then your teammate absolutely deserves to be reported and hopefully the devs will do something about it. Working with the killer is definitely bannable. As a rule, the devs don't tell us what actions they take against those who are reported, so things may be getting done about it but you'll never know.

It’s against the rules to help killers in anyway (including ratting our teammates) and it’s also against the rules for survivors to play the game abnormally. These things seem at odds when you’re one of two survivors remaining with multiple gens left to complete. But ‘hiding’ in a situation like this is very unlikely to get you banned or punished in anyway, while clearly leading the killer to another survivor is something that can be recorded, reported, and result in corrective action.

the issiue with "bruh hiding" mindset like yours is: not all can loop the killer for 2 gens straight, some are better off hiding. Also there is some perks that even require you to jump in on lockers but some individuals seem to not think on that and just think "bruh hiding".
it doesnt happen mutch but i had poeple flaming me for "bruh hiding" when i litteraly did 3 gens by myself basicly because THEY kept being chased and because i kept hiding in corners to immediatly work on gens again. They didnt see me, all though i unhooked the other random the duo swf ratted me out to the killer when i was on death hook just because of me "hiding all game".
so better stick your judgements to yourself.

I didn't say "bruh hiding" assuming they were hiding, I asked "are you hiding in corners and bushes all game." I didn't pass judgement on anyone, I just asked a question and respectfully explained why other players might act like they do based on assumptions they make.
It's a shame that you have a sad story about some teammates who sandbagged you based on bad assumptions, but that wasn't me. I run Bond and I know how to tell the difference.
So keep your snarky response to yourself.

I find a rat in game is at least more interesting than quitters and hook suiciders.

I'm the one who sticks to a gen while the other stealths. In my experience, most killers aren't like you. I can count only one time when a killer clued on. They slugged me then checked out basement and found the other survivor hiding, and after hooking them they gave me hatch. I've been keeping track of my games and I die third more often than not, I'm assuming because of the above scenario where there's two of us and I'm the only one to be found.

When it comes to two survivors left, unless there's one gen left and the two are in a SWF, the trial is effectively over. There's really no point in doing gens unless both people are on them as the killer will find you long before you get close to finishing the gen. And since, at least for the moment, escape is the win condition for survivors, most don't want to stick their neck out for a random who's probably hiding as well. Especially if you, they, or both are on death hook.
My move is to stealth around until I find the other survivor and try to get them on a gen with me. Most of the time the other survivor gets found first, because, and this is still bizarre to me, survivors will still fast vault/interact with everything for no reason. Killer camps the downed to draw the last one out, or bleeds the downed survivor till close to death them picks them up to try to get them to rat out the other survivor.
This is usually when I start video recording. If they keep the killer busy while I can work on a gen, at least that's something. If the survivor works with the killer to find me, I report them at the end and send the video along with screenshots of the trial info. In a few past trials the other survivor tried to sandbag me for the killer and winds up taking the hit. I've had it happen just often enough that the other survivor bleeds out (from the killer waiting to pick them up) and the killer chases me until I find the hatch. Then I usually get the killer and rat blowing up end game chat with all kinds of nastiness and I can report both of them.
But yeah, some kind of change needs to be done when it's down to two survivors. They get a minor gen repair buff, or movement speed buff, or something.

look if u were useless the whole game or is not even trying to help others, other survivor will retaliate against you
and its not sympathy, i chased a survivor for exactly 2 mins (only 2 survivors left), and didn't hear the last gen pop, now tell what would you do in that case?
kill the survivor who was trying their hearts out and let the one who was useless to get hatch or team up and find the person who was waiting for hatch
and this goes both ways tbh
i would understand hiding for hatch if there is like 2 or 3 gens left but 1?
i never had this happening to me as a survivor, but it happened too many times as killer

No thats the thing i wasn't hiding and i did all the work

The only reason this surivor ratted me out was because he was death hook and i wasn't
And instead of playing the game and trying to finish the gens like i was they chose to be a rat like i said it just wrecks the the game

As annecdotal as my experience is, I think I've met less than 10 survivors who guide the killer to other survivors etc, this is in like, 6600 hours.

Yeah it's not a thing that is going on all the time but it happens enough to be annoying

he was so mad about this happening to him in a match that he made an account just to post about it, and I think that's funny.

And he should be mad. It's not only a move that proves you are a piece of crap but also against the rules
