Well, looks like limited time cosmetics are here to stay...
Despite people bringing up issues with the limited cosmetics for the Halloween season, they seem to be doing it again with the Christmas ones this year. So looks like this will be a new thing that'll stay, meaning if you want these cosmetics you better get them withing the available timespan or you'll have to wait another year.
Honestly not a fan of this, I get they want to make these cosmetics feel more special but like others said it's a predatory method that feeds off FOMO.
If this new thing truly continues, my only hope is that they could do something like Overwatch 1 did in where all seasonal limited cosmetics are purchasable again during the anniversary event.

Of course, because people will pay for them. New skins just came out and I allready saw Survivors wearing them. And this will continue like any other free to play / store game.

No surprise tbh. People will buy the skins regardless but if they are limited time most will just buy immediately so they know they won’t lose it
I don’t mind too much honestly so long as they come back next year

It's absolutely normal to spend money on cosmetics. Cosmetics being limited is also normal (If you played Smite, you'll know what I mean).
What Is not normal - you have to spend money to play some killers or survivors. P2W aspect is something that I'm not a fan of.
But hey, we have Nurse right? This is a good excuse to not call this game a p2w, right? xD

The only killer/survivors you have to pay for are licensed ones, I repeat it: licensed ones

Yes..new skins just came out, so why wouldn’t survivors wear them?
It’s December, and they’re holiday themed…

Also, since they're not even among the top 5 strongest killers, it's not and "excuse", it's not p2w by definition.

Having seasonal skins only available during that specific season isn't that bad really. I'm a big critic for how games monetize themselves and that isn't a big thing to me.
