Anyone else already moved on from Tools of Torment?

Personally, I did get the characters, but I was already over the chapter before it was even release. Now I'm just curious on what's in midchapter and the anniversary. If the Anniversary is licensed, can we PLEASE pull the same stunt as Resident Evil where it was announced a week after All-Kill released and about 30 seconds after Roots of Dread went to PTB?

Yeah. I’m already over it, it’s a shame too. I love the aesthetic of the killer. Having their own little tent and the chase music/menu music is perfect. But the killer and power just doesn’t fit it..

    a shame really

It didn’t live up to the hype.

    also, there was no hype.

Nope on that long quest to p100 Merchant. I was slightly worried live would be much harder than PTB since I would be running into DH way more but honestly it's been fine as I still haven't lost a game but that's probably at least partly because MMR on SKull Merchant isn't where it should be yet.

Yeah, wasn't even hyped when loading into the game after the update. The whole chapter is kinda meh, the cosmetics are meh (wish there had been green rarity cosmetics too), the new maps are meh. Just not excited for it anymore

I'm currently doing a full reinstall because BHVR still can't figure out how to properly push out updates nearly seven years into the game's lifespan, so I can't say I've moved on when I haven't been able to play it at all yet.

But as far as the next chapter, if it is licensed, you don't need to worry; there's a 0% chance they won't announce it well ahead of time. BHVR is never releasing a licensed chapter with just a small teaser right before a PTB ever again.

Bought with shards, got all the character-specific achievements, and grinded the rest of the screams with Doctor. Have to actually see Shelter Woods to try for that achieve, but I'm less worried about that one. Done with the chapter and ready to move on though, for sure.

I didn't really care too much about it being bad, there's bound to be bad chapters every now and then. I'm more focused on why they nerfed screaming perks for no reason.

That whole patch is a disappointment to me. The new maps look great but actually playing on them feels worse than before imo. The killer and the perks suck. The survivors are pretty cool I guess but they're just reskins with perks if we're being honest.

And then there's the nerf to scream perks. That one is on a whole different level...

I’m enjoying merchant personally so the chapter is still on my radar. The perks are disappointing but that’s to be expected
