Why are some killers allowed to use there Power near hooks and some don't?

Bubba and Hillbilly who can both one shot survivors who try to unkook are allowed to use there power near the hooks

Trapper can place his traps near hooked survivors

Hag can place her traps near hooks which is one of the strongest things about her

Huntress can shoot her hatchet which is faster then a m1 hit

Twins and Dredge are really weird. You can't pull out Victor while the survivor is hooked but you can place Victor near a hook, then hook the survivor and Victor will stand there doing his job. You can't teleport with dredge to lockers near a survivor that is hooked but you can go manualy inside the locker and Camp like that.


Artists bird dissappear when they are too close to a hooked survivor

Skull merchant's drones dissappear and you can't place a new one near them

Pyramid Head's trails dissappear and when you are too close to a caged survivor they change position


Ether disable all powers that help with Camping or leave them but choose for god sake

    I don't think it's as complicated as you are making it sound. They do their best to dissuade killers from camping. The end. Like is a hatchet force field supposed to be deployed around hooked survivors? Is an EMP bomb supposed to go off if Billy or Bubba are nearby with a chainsaw? If Trapper or Hag were released today then they probably wouldn't be able to put traps near hooked survivors but they've been grandfathered in. Plus those two can use all the help they can get and their powers can be worked around.

    The only one I’m really confused about is hag since her traps are one of the best camping tools in the game. But nah apparently merchant and artist need the restriction more than her
