Near miss shouldn't be just basic attacks
As someone who plays on console I can't 360 an attack easily. Plus some killers won't do basic attacks Nemesis players always use their whip and I highly doubt if I was facing a Nurse her blink wouldn't count as missing a basic attack. Even then I try using Dead Hard that doesn't work I try hopping in a locker nope doesn't work even faking a window nope nothing why does it have to be a basic attack most killers I face have secondary attacks that don't count so how can I complete this challenge in general it might be the only survivor challenge I can't complete because it's requiring me to do something I can't do. Even if I try all the techs that doesn't work a pallet stun doesn't even work.

Sprint Burst works very well for this one and is what I used. Most killers will expect to hit you if you run away the the first time you're within M1 range, so it's easy to get at least one miss per game before they realize you have SB. But you're not wrong, there are plenty of killers whose powers make it really unlikely they'll even try a basic attack on you... but there's no way around it besides playing until you find ones that will.

Do you mean the achievement for causing 50 killer attacks to miss before taking a vault?
I got it fine on PS4, but since switching to PS5 two months ago, it seems to be stuck at 35/50 for me. Just can't get anything else to register.

Or the current tome challenge to force killers to miss you a few times.

Oh I see, is that on Level 4? Got to Level 85 of the Rift a few weeks ago so have been doing older tome challenges instead of worrying about the current one.

Yeah. I avoided it for many of the reasons listed in this thread. I literally did the six, SIX count of Blood Debt first.
