Difficulty recalculation still happening

Once again I have a Dangerous outpost, it ran all night as Dangerous, it was Dangerous in the morning, I load into it and it's still Dangerous.

Then I place down a single Prop and it changes to Brutal. Removing the Prop does not revert it to Dangerous.

The outpost is under no circumstances difficult, if it's in Brutal then not only does it get no raids, but what few it gets are going to be 0 kills guaranteed.

    And again.

    Loaded into a Dangerous outpost. Hit Prestige. No other actions. Now it's Brutal.

    I am constantly removing traps from my outposts to keep them in Dangerous, reducing the actual difficulty in doing so.

    This is insane.

    Yeah, I have this issue. I was working on an Outpost, it was Normal, test ran it, Normal, added stuff, Normal, tested it, Normal, removed two Pistons I'd forgotten about from an old design, Dangerous.

    I had to remove a bunch of traps to get it back down to Normal and the base feels really crap for it (it fails the hold W test now).

    I hate this game's difficulty calculation system and how opaque it is. If it gave Builders information during the building process, at least we'd understand what's going on and know when it's malfunctioning. As is, we're totally fumbling in the dark and it's frustrating.
