DC'ing is a genuine problem just because of what killer I choose to play.
Before anything; I understand that Wesker can be OP at times and quite frankly feel like some hits shouldn't connect. But actually learn how to play against him, instead of DC'ing and screwing your teammates over.
I just got Wesker, The 10 games I played, I had 9 DC's within a minute of the match starting. Even playing ricochet Trickster, double vial effectiveness addon Plague, insta down Huntress. I can't remember the last time I had any survivor DC, let alone DC just because of a Killer I was playing.
What was even worse is for 5 of the DC's I was on a close quarters map (think Lery's, Badham, Gideon). I can barely even use my damn power, I'm just a m1 killer at that point.

I can't speak for those DCing ppl, but every. Single. Match. I played today was against him. I played from 8am until now.
It gets MAD old. I just turned it off. They might as well rename the game dead by wesker.
Wish they'd put something in the game so I stop getting matched with same killers. I don't mind him, but over 20+ games (every match!!!) and no variety, its very, very boring.

It hurts other survivors that just wanna play the game too. The killer I see more often than any is Ghost Face and, yeah, it gets hella old, but I would never dc and rob someone else of their gaming experience. I wouldn’t want it done to me.

I don't think they're DCing because they find Wesker OP. Most people agree Wesker is strong but fun to play as and against.
I think the issue is that Wesker is so popular that many people are just sick of playing against him so often.
I've seen a growing resentment over the last couple of weeks especially on these forums and on Twitter about Wesker being in every game, people playing against him multiple games in a row, and for a game that has as many killers as DBD has, I can see how it gets old only seeing the same one so much of the time.
Not much that can be done about it though, as I said in another thread BHVR would never add a blacklist option and I can't see them ever adding a 'can't go against the same killer twice in a row' option as that would unfairly punish Wesker players. Obviously they should be balancing weaker killers and adding QoL improvements to less-popular killers so they can be as fun as Wesker, but I guess that's a much longer-term goal given how slow BHVR is with stuff like that.

In vacuum, Wesker is pretty fun to face.
In the context of 2/3 of your games being against Weskers, he gets truly, seriously old. You could say that about any killer you incessantly see.
Which is why the devs giving other killers some attention is called for, because variety is a nice thing.

Killers play wesker constantly because he's incredibly overpowered, being able to dash around the map with lightning speed, have built in slowdown whenever you hit a survivor (or they're oneshot and 8% hindered), survivors being half infected off hook for easy tunneling, being able to easily vault pallets and windows with his power, his power being too easy to use around loops and then also his massive hitbox to top it all off.
They just want the easiest wins possible with minimal amount of effort.
Survivors DC because they're sick and tired of seeing him constantly and they're hopeless cause they know the chance of escaping the match are slim to none, why play a match you can't win and also wont have fun?

He's not incredibly overpowered that sounds like a skill-issue.
Most Weskers are terrible and free wins, the entire problem is literally just over-saturation.

Maybe because he was the most recent released Killer that actually feels good to play and it’s been almost a year since his release
