Trapper's are annoying
I get their rare to find yes but there's one thing maybe two I dislike. Their unoriginal Trapper is cool for the whole placing bear traps and such but it's when they place them ONLY at pallets it's basically a stereotype for Trapper's, they'll place them only at pallets and very rarely anywhere else. Okay I get some maps don't have grass to place traps down but I mean I'm just begging place one I wouldn't mind one just somewhere that isn't a pallet I'll even take the usual window trap. One of the reasons I hate facing Trappers who do that is simple I CAN'T DISARM THEM AT PALLETS. I spent maybe a good minute just trying to disarm one to see how I can disarm it easily i looked at it with my survivor, with just the camera, I did both, I one or the other even couching and not crouching far and near and plus moving and standing still and all it gave me was just the prompt pull down. I mean the game showed the disarm trap...for a millisecond before going back to pull down again. Okay I get placing traps at pallets is strategic but couldn't BHVR have to where if I and/or my character is staring at a bear trap that is at the pallet the game should register the trap not the pallet.

Ah are you on a controller?
If so you'll want to rebind your buttons ASAP to separate the Action and Interact buttons... you'll get caught on a lot of things like this... Pinhead being the worst.
My own settings (I think off top of my head) are: -
- L2 for Sprint
- R2 for Use Item
- L1 for Action
- R1 for Interact
- Triangle for Pick Up item
- Circle for crouch.
Doing this will stop a lot of interactions you don't want from crossing over.

I would but I've played with default since 2018 and I would basically have to try leaning the controls all over again.

You will get used to it after playing for a day.

it is much MUCH better to spend a bit of time learning it.
seriously.

me having literally just played a few matches... "######### are my buttons again?"
seriously... I know them all while playing, but I'm like... "what do I hold to run?"

My guy, Trapper is perhaps the worst killer in the game right now.
Between the fact that strong items are being used left and right these days (thus speeding up an already fast game and making it less and less viable to take time to set up good traps) and the fact that they, for some reason, decided to rework every map to have paper thin grass, what else do you expect?
It's either play around trapped pallets or sit in the basement with a trap at every entrance of the shack.
Buff Trapper please :(

I hear you... it'll be a pain for like 4 or 5 games... but trust me... it'll revolutionise your life 😁

Ahahahaha, I feel like trying to describe your controls without the controller in your hand is not far off amputees trying to describe how it feels to have phantom limbs... 🤣

If I place them at pallets, it's at fallen pallets. That way a survivor being chased may think they need to vault it, get Lithe and burst off, but end up vaulting into a trap.
Other than that, I place them anywhere I feel would be unexpected, with maybe a couple in more obvious places to make survivors think I'm a bit simplistic in my style.
