Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Actually DBD's main issues (camping, tunneling etc.) aren't that bad

Just wanna talk about another game I started that is like DBD, Identity V. I started playing it and the face-camping camping tunneling, plus NOED as well as maps are 3x times worse than DBD. Your "hook" states only last 30 seconds each. Your struggle doesn't progress when you're carried again after being dropped by the killer, there's no BT or anything that can make you survive tunneling you can equip, you have to rely on your teammates for that, most survivors have built in Adrenaline, windows never block, lol, your attack animation last forever when you hit, half the survivors have Dead Hard for distance etc. etc. Hook grabs are still a thing there btw. Gens feel even faster.

When I started playing it I thought rescuing was easy as in DBD but it wasn't cause you will get injured and your teammate will probably fall in the next 5 seconds. I am starting to appreciate DBD a lot more after experiencing the other game. The issues that I think make those strategies strong in DBD is the lack of communication between solo survivors which has always bothered me and the insanely bad matchmaking (had a very new Claudette in my team earlier as well as Meg).

The fact that BHVR has address most of the points in the first paragraph is admirable in a way. It's simply incredibly interesting to see how each game evolved differently. I think playing each game makes me a bit better at the other somehow.

They need to fix the communication and MMR thing imo.
