like global doctor music. You cant stop hearing his song.

You seem to like the idea of a map-wide Terror Radius:
Still, the issues would be the same. You would need to rework every Terror Radius-related Perk on both sides to make this work.

I just want his static field back
While in Treatment Mode, The Doctor generates a Static Field within his Terror Radius, which passively increases Survivors' Madness based on their proximity to The Doctor.

If anything they are going nerf his Static Blast.

Doctor was weaker during this time. And also harder to play, because you had to switch Modes when you wanted to use his Power during the chase.
The Blast is also better at applying Madness than the Static Field was.

i mean can't they add static field along with his current power or would you say that it makes doctor too oppressive?

I think if they give him a passive Madness Build-Up on top of his Static Blast, it would make it too much.
If they keep the Blast and add a separate mode like back then (which increases Madness while moving a bit slower), it would also not really be good... But also not really that useful for the Killer if they would have to move slower AND cannot attack during the different mode.

They are not going to nerf his Statis Blast. There is zero reason to nerf him.

I reckon they'll look at some of his addons and maybe increase the shock's range by 2 metres and turn down the delay slightly. That's all he needs to be a very solid B tier killer. The static blast is perfectly fine and doesn't need any changes.

I think it’s likely they reduce the detonation delay on the shock (aka partial-basekit Discipline addon).

Yeah this is all I want. Right now one range add on is kind of necessary because of how short Shock is so making that base kit and reducing the delay would make him feel much better.
He has so many good add ons but against strong teams you are kind of stuck with range and delay add ons and don’t get to use the more fun ones, so making those base kit would open up more add on possibilities!

Apart from that, he has the same addons over and over again. I get having some addons in multiple rarities but on Doctor it's a bit too much. Do we really need 3 Discipline, Order, Restraint and Calm addons each?
Also, for whatever reason WoO no longer shows the auras of his illusiory pallets. So we now have a meta perk that also counters some of his more quirky addons.

Surely the WoO thing is a bug, right? Hopefully it is because that just makes the add on worthless.
And yeah some of his add ons are pretty much the same but at least they have their uses, even if it is a limit amount of add ons overall. Except for the ones that change the shape of the Shock. Those are just bad. Wouldn’t be opposed to an add on pass though.

i don't agree. static field was better at applying madness but it was a bad detection tool.

in road map, march-april, they are thinking of improving doctor, so maybe he becomes better. his chase is ok at tile-sets but his catch-up towards health-states is poor beyond using stbfl and sloppy to recover quickly+keep people injured(to avoid health-states). He has decent anti-loop with shock therapy. can play almost any tile in the game but he is relied on range add-on. I can see this being buffed. His madness at base-kit is suppose to make survivors miss skill-checks to have 4vs1 game-delay but it is not very effective. survivors at high mmr are too good at skill-checks for his passive to do anything. Restraint and Discipline are decent afflictions madness afflictions while Order and Calm are not that good. The only saving grace for Calm add-on is that it has a decent passive to boost detection/lower TR. With requirement to have a range add-on, he only has room to use 1 affliction yet none of the afflictions are like game-winning. they're just ok small bonuses. Awhile back, they weakened his madness to scale back to rank 1. This hurts Restraint affliction and Calm affliction because those effects work outside of chase and incentives you to use Discipline or Order because these afflictions work inside the chase. Order is not that good so Discipline affliction has inherent bias over his other madness choices because it has a decent side-passive of making his shock detonate faster.
As much I am not interested too much in mangled and stbfl nerfs, the killer changes are intriguing.

I would like if the illusions of him run to the survivor before standing still, so people are maybe getting mindgamed and scared a bit.
