Omg I'm literally a sweaty killer, huh?
I play to be nice and to win. When I play to be nice it is just to get BP.
But, when I play to win, I am literally sweating during and after every single match.
Irrespective of how the match is going, playing killer makes my heart race.
I place my controller in a plastic bag and then place the bag in the freezer for about 15 minutes before playing π
I'm laughing because my controller is in the freezer righy now and I was thinking I must be the definition of a sweaty killer π as I wait to play.

If you have two controllers, you can have one in the freezer while you play a match, then just keep swapping them each match. Just don't forget it's in there!

Well, killer has to micro- and macromanage against 4 people with non stop action.
Couple that with the goal of winning or rather killing as many as possible and it is no wonder that it's the physically more stressful role in the game and you naturally end up sweating.

Exactly. Even in tense matches as Survivor, I never sweat. My heart races sometimes but nothing like playing killer.

With enough time comes routine.
When I start my usual 5 rounds of pig, I start swinging my camera a roar a lot while slowly moving towards surviors.
I'm just happy to play another round of piggy.
I'm concentrated, not sweaty.

I think we need to stop mislabelling farming as playing βniceβ.
Itβs perfectly fine to play to win there is nothing inherently βun-niceβ about that.
There are just people on both sides who can't accept loss and equate losing with the opponent not being nice.
Itβs a sick way to view gaming and results in people really upsetting themselves over the game and engaging in a lot of toxicity as a result.

Killer is definitely more stressful, since it's only you against four other people. Four other people who are united against trying to beat -you-. Even worse if they're a SWF, all in comms and trading information about your position and actions.
That isn't to say playing survivor and winding up against a really good killer isn't stressful, but you at least get some down time on gens, unless you're immediatly tunneled I guess.
As killer you're in every single chase and if you are trying to win then you're always aware of the ticking clock that are the gens, and that if you take too long in even one chase, you're chance of 'winning' is likely gone.
Personally though I can't really bring myself to sweat all that much, since when I used to do that, I'd get much more angry and frustrated when I lost. I found that I enjoy the game much more when I'm at least slightly more chill in most games. (That isn't to say I don't still get mad on occasion, but, well, this is DBD).

What do you get for a sweaty 4k?
Nothing. Absolutely zero.
No medals or pats on the back. Just toxic comments from entitled survivors who hate to lose.
And then it's on to the next game so the previous game you stressed over means nothing.
I played clown with 9 hooks. I had fun, the 3 survivors had fun because they escaped with death hook looming large.
The survivor that died to a 3 hook may or may not have had fun before dying.
But 4 out of 5 having fun is pretty good all round.
And not a drop of sweat and no stress

Playing with malice or "toxicity" is yet another thing.

To cool down the grips and trigger buttons. It's like a nice arctic chill on my hands, all refreshed and ready for the next match. The chill effects don't last long but it's worth it.

Omg ikr? It makes my heart race too and I love it so much. Especially when I get an elite no scope 360 or whatever swf squad that bully me with their flashlights while I re-learn how to play nurse with the ps5 controller.

I feel the same. It's no secret that gamers don't like losing, regardless of the role you choose to play. That being said, playing killer against a sweat squad that are all on comms is a nightmare, especially if you're playing with a killer you've never played with before. The amount of micromanaging is through the roof, not to mention a single mistake could cost you the match. It's ridiculously stressful.
Having said that, I usually find myself partaking in a drink before I play a game of DBD π, especially if it's killer. Personally, it helps me to relax and not take things too seriously, even though it can still be frustrating when you find yourself getting stomped on time and time again. Which is why I look forward to the extra game modes that the devs have in store. A way to cleanse the pallet after a brutal match would be most welcome.
