console on controller
is it controller or game lag ? Killer movement is ok but when trying to run as survivor the character runs then walks then runs and repeats the controller is not that old ? Any one else had this problem playing killer side movement is ok?

Killer doesn't have 2 movement states, whereas survivor does. It sounds like there is a problem with your run button. You could try using Toggle instead of Hold for that binding as a quick fix, but it'll take some getting used to.
Likely you'll have some kind of gunk/grime between the button and the contact, making it hit or miss. Have you ever spilt food or a sugary drink on your controller? Do you clean it regularly to avoid that grey build up on the recesses and button edges?
Regardless you'll likely need to disassemble it to clean the connector. If it's not in warranty anymore, consider taking it apart and cleaning the contact underneath the button.
You can find quite a few videos online that will guide you through it, just take pictures as you go to make sure you know what part came out when.
To prevent in future I'd recommend never eat while using your controller, wash you hands regularly, and get some alcohol/anti bactetial wipes to clean it at least twice a week.

Any chance your LB button is broken assuming you use the default binds

as a fellow console player my stuff has been fine since i got better wifi so that might be it
