best place to put unknown's hallucinations?

so i absolutely love the unknown and have gotten pretty decent since he came out, but i'm wondering where everyone thinks the best place to put his teleports are. I see comp players talking about strategically placing them but I kinda just let them go wherever.

You can delay their spawns by hugging a wall tightly, as they need a minimum radius where there is nothing in order for them to spawn.

Not sure but I think tapping M2 also delays it, but not sure on that.

To me, the most important thing is to have them a bit spread out across the map, so that you can reduce your travel time as much as possible. Remember that dispelling hallucinations doesn't take very long at all, so leaving them right next to gens isn't going to work if the survivors are paying attention (which they might not).

Some people have mastered placement within loops such as shack, which are unlikely to get taken out by a passing survivor if there's no gen in there.

wherever you'd place a dredge remnant or demo portal probably, maybe just outside shack window or by a 3 gen
