So Is Meet Your Maker Dead Now? (BHVR Blog Post And The Future of MYM)

MYM has announced their future set of cosmetics and content to release... and it's not looking good. There does not seem to be plans to introduce new traps, guards, or mods/augments, and releasing cosmetics that are literally just slight reskins of existing things as opposed to fully overhauled cosmetics that people would work for.
One of the things specifically that hints towards the lack of new content being added is "the world of MYM has been fully revealed" which hints towards their being no new environments or creatures to add since all areas have effectively been fully explored. It's subtle, but it hurts to read nonetheless.
The lack of new content and the limited cosmetics makes me think that MYM is basically destined to die at this rate.
Which is such a shame since the main thing BHVR should have done is decreased the overall price of the game to around 10-15 USD earlier on the game's lifespan to make up for the lack of content and it would have done well. Hell even Dead by Daylight, a game with more content, was cheaper than MYM at launch.
Combine that with the overall lack of marketing for the game, since it relied so much on Streamers and Content Creators to cover the game instead of actual advertising it really didnt help the game spread to the broader parts of the internet.
I really wanted MYM to succeed. It was fun, it really was, and there was a passionate community too, it's just a shame to see it left to ruin.
