a killer brought me to a corner of a map next to a bed and proceeded to imitate ######### me. As a victim of this in real life this has left me seriously distraught and triggered my PTSD, it instantly reminded me of my experiences, I don't think I can play this game anymore, is this something i can report a player for?

You can report them for unsportsmanlike conduct and maybe even harassment. The question is, if anything will be done about it.

The fact that the killer carried you somewhere I'd think would increase the chance of unsportsmanlike/griefing, but generally speaking that's not something they penalize in any way for.

That reminds me of a discussion we had not too long ago, where people told me that it's not to be taken serious.

When will people see how dangerous this is!?!

I believe its bannable, but only if the killer player has gotten multiple reports with video evidence. This is a case where a single offense wont really do anything, but ive seen some infamous killer players that have done unsportsmanlike actions like that get temp banned by doing this multiple times. Guess all those reports added up.

I'm sorry that happened to you. The Devs openly support teabagging, they won't be banning anything similar.

I would still report them and send in a video. They do this to feel powerful against someone who is powerless. I loop killers for so long anymore that this happens just about every other match if/when they finally down me. At least T-bagging is useful for communicating, and pretty much harmless. There is just no grounds for comparison between the two actions.

Think of it this way, if someone was a victim of it in real life, do you think it would be appropriate to remind them of that awful experience by purposely making unwanted sexual gestures at them in a video game?

It's not okay, just because it's a video game doesn't make everything acceptable all of a sudden. It's still a form of sexual harassment regardless if it's digital or not. People log in to DBD to have fun in a video game, not to be sexually harassed with unwanted sexual gestures or comments from someone who thinks it's funny.

But again, seeing how players in this community act, i'm kinda not surprised there are people defending it in 2024.

This should be a bannable behvior, if its not already, that can be followed up through the correct reporting channels and sending video evidence of it. I am not the only in this thread or the forums who thinks this too.

They openly depict sexual assault. If this is not a reason to report someone, then I don't know what is.

    Are you all serious???

    Agree!

We should not stand for this stuff and finally take a stance against it.

We endorsed this for enough time already.

Closing the thread, and cleaned up a vast array of comments for going off-topic, and uncivil comments, and all that is asked is to please, remember the Forum Rules when posting.

To Toaster, I am so sorry you are experiencing these emotions from the actions of others.
