Did something happen to Unknown's voice?

I selected Unknown to spend a few BP on. Their outfit is just the yellow rarity but I noticed their voice is a lot more clear unlike in a match where it's distorted. I don't know if it's only me or if it's the outfit I have selected that's doing it but yeah their voice is a lot more clear instead of all distorted and janky like multiple voices talking.
