It’s always necessary to ask for this, no matter what. Freddy needs SKINS, especially a legendary one based on Robert Englund, no matter how expensive it is. He’s available for both voice and likeness. We need dialogue and a skin, my friend. Freddy could have very interesting and fun dialogues like Chucky—more serious lines for the regular Freddy and more mocking ones for the Robert Englund skin, just like in the movies. Don’t fall behind; Robert is getting older, and you can’t wait, or you’ll lose the opportunity, like what happened with Candyman.

That, and don’t nerf anything. The killer is fine as is. He even deserves changes to make dream pallets less obvious, like they used to be. Right now, they’re useless, and on top of that, they stun you, which doesn’t make sense. Also, the ability to cancel the teleport is necessary.

If you want to help survivors, just add a loading screen tip: "Playing against The Nightmare: He can be in multiple places with his teleports. Healing while asleep might be dangerous.” And that’s it!

    If bhvr had a choice, they would have gone for the actual Freddy Krueger and likewise have acquired Candyman a long time ago.

    But this is all down to the license holders themselves solely, not bhvr nor any actors.

    I believe there is nothing the Devs or even BHVR to do about it. The Nightmare on Elm Street Licence we have in DbD is very old, it's from 2017 and isn't even the one with Robert Englund in it. Adding more content to it seems to be really hard to do, even things like Cosmetics for Quentin or a Badham Map Rework.

    It's impressive that we even have Nightmare on Elm Street Content in the game at all, since Warner Bros/New Line Cinema are notorious for not doing crossovers with stuff they don't own themself (Except for DC Comic Stuff in Fortnite)

    I think BHVR tried multiple times, but they got declined. Same with a chase music etc. But since BHVR now managed to got that big Killer Update on Freddy done, I have a bit of Hope for at least a Chase Music and Voicelines, because In the last PTB Patch Notes the Devs mentioned that they will "Further improve the Dream World Visuals". So they still work on Freddy in the Future.

    I think they already confirmed they can't get any skins for Freddy or Quentin. Its out of their hands. The license holders seem to be very rigid on it.

    balance updates for licensed killers dont require the agreement of the license holders, and aren't even connected with the license at all. however, the characters, their appearance, and cosmetics are connected with the license holders and is why we haven't gotten anything for them yet.
