Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I'll admit kaneki does feel busted.

I've played as kaneki, and against him. At first I thought he didn't really need much of a nerf, but going against him feels kinda bad. Like many has said the free hit feels like you can do nothing against it. I just went up against a kaneki who was complete trash. Like it took him half way through the match to grab a survivor, but once he figured out his power he was pretty oppressive, and got mostly everyone on death hook fast. I could tell he was new to the killer, and I'm saying you don't really need much skill to get a easy win as him. I really did feel like he is more oppressive than a nurse.

Staying on a Gen for 90 seconds is kinda boring. Having to get on a Gen, get off a Gen. Killer kicks said gen. This loop happened probably more than a dozen times vsing kaneki. He can go from one point of the map to the other within seconds making staying on a Gen for 90 seconds take even longer. I was saying to myself I would rather vs a nurse cause there is some mind gaming involved with the survivor and her blinks.

I'm just saying, playing as kaneki is fun. He has a cool power, but when I play against him it just makes me want to turn DBD off, and play something else. I think he needs a tweak in 2 departments as I see so far. His range needs to be reduced so he can't fly acrossed the map within 2 seconds. It's a bit much, and it feels better if it was balanced a bit more. The second is the free hit. I do think that there should be some skill involved with learning any ability and there is just no skill from clicking on a survivor from 20 yards away, and getting a free hit. It makes killers who has put time into learning other killers feel bad when any fresh player can pick up kaneki, and have a easy chance at a free win. I'm not gonna play survivor when the majority of the survivor populations first instinct is to give up when they see a kaneki. It's not healthy for the game to make other gamers feel like this. I also feel like the people who are saying he needs no nerfs are probably killers who are bad at the game, and want a easy win. I like to assume my killer matches are won cause I took the time to master that killer, and not a win won through a busted ability. Just saying.

Just my 2 cents but I can handle what Kaneki brings to the table, but his recovery after power is probably the sore spot that sticks out the most.

I can handle the hitscan lockon free hit, but the ability to m1 so fast is kinda the deal breaker.

he’s a little over tuned for the mass I think.

I still think he needs to be toned down a bit, but I have to say the more I play against him the less OP he feels.

Kaneki is op, the movement is honestly fine, but rage vaulting really shouldnt be as strong and fast as it is
