Murphy's Law in DBD

Most DBD matches I play are about 10-15 minutes.

When I order food online, it normally says about 45 mins to arrive, and it's never on time.

After ordering food, I decide to have one game on DBD to pass the time until the food arrives.

But these matches always tend to be epics that last 30+ minutes.

And delivery times suddenly becomes amazing.

In-game, there is one kill and gates are opened. Killer has downed me. and is slug-camping me.

In the corner of my eye is my laptop showing that the driver is a couple mins away.

Teammates decide to try and save me. I shake my body to try and tell them to just leave, but they're determined to get the save.

For 2 minutes, my team mates are trying to work the killer to get the pick-up.

The doorbell rings. I spend 20 seconds rushing to the door, grab the food and run back.

I see my screen. My recovery bar is reset. Another team-mate has been downed, whilst the other is injured and trying to escape. It's apparent that they got the pick up but the killer downed me whilst AFK. How does that happen in 20 seconds?

The killer manages to kill the other two teammates.

Why does this happen? The second half of the story was specific to my last match, but whenever I start a game of DBD after ordering my food, the match always lasts much longer than normal and the delivery times are much faster than normal.

Dammit, Murphy.

What other instances of Murphy's Law do you find in DBD?

    That is unfortunate.

My example is Chaos Shuffle giving No Mither against an Oni. Happens all the time

Nosebleed just as a match starts.

Getting disconnected from host (twice!) when I'm dominating.

This is why you always use the "leave it at my doorstep" option. 😆
