Remind me again why the devs didn't remove haste-stacking?
I do not care how many people are going to say "Aww but what about all the killers that need Haste-Stacking" when ######### like this is somehow allowed to just roam free, A 12% speed increase in a game balanced around Killers being faster then survivors in order to actually end chases is already really strong, a easily stackable 12% speed increase that can apply to two people at once against a killer who is either only 3% faster or 2% SLOWER then the survivors is straight up overpowered.
These perks are a problem, the entire haste-stacking system is a problem, no build should allow people to get that much extra speed, BHVR shouldn't have walked back on it, they should have implemented it and told the community to shove it, it's especially problematic when you remember that you don't see the other side's builds until the end of the game, so for all you know you're going up against a couple of cheaters, which I genuinely thought I was, which isn't exactly a very great feeling when you then go to the end screen and realise that no, the game just allows this bullshit to be in the game and everybody seems to think this is completely acceptable
The perks are completely fine on their own, it's the stacking that was and always will be the issue, get rid of it.
G'night

Good night, Darren!
Also, poor Taurie, looks like she barely played the match.
12 -
but hast staking was remove in 8.7.0
- While multiple Haste or Hindered effects are active, the largest percentage for each is used.

It got reverted bruh

no way ,ok cool information
2 -
Brother what did you DO to Taurie???

nuh uh

Down her because the other option was looking for a Meg in the bushes or go up against what I thought at the time were a pair of cheaters
Like what other option did I have
-6 -
As a side, I love the direction of this post. What started as a fair question about haste stacking has quickly turned into: "What did you do to Taurie, you monster!".
9 -
Taurie didn't bring an item for Springtrap to eat. She should have seen this coming.
1 -
they didnt remove it cuz its fun to use.
most killers dont care about movement speed difference as much especially when survivors need to have 2 people pressured at the price of one + dedicate their entire builds for that and you can just play around that + bloodlust.
and you were playing springtrap who has a range attack.

Really goes to show where this community's priorities are
Because why have a discussion about the fact that Survivors can outrun Killers with minimal effort when we can instead make jokes about what happened to the one person I was able to chase normally lmao-7 -
I'm not seeing a problem with your screenshot here.
Are you upset that you hit a speed bump while completely steamrolling this team?
Cause this appears to be the classic "sure I hard won the match, but I had to try a little bit, so please nerf the losing team so this outcome is even easier next time".
10 -
Hard not to notice they all died..
12 -
She had 7K points!
Did you VAPORIZE her when you downed her?
10 -
OG mori on her first down.
Got her once and she was gone.
8 -
I mean, comparing the BP of Taurie vs everyone else (7k vs 30k+) it pretty much means that Taurie spent basically just as much time playing the game as she spent in lobby while the others, even if they died eventually, played an almost full match.
8 -
No killer "needs" haste stacking. Haste stacking builds aren't as good as just bringing slowdown. It didn't get removed because the majority of players consider it fun to do.
4 -
You got 50k BP, 15k more BP than any of the survivors. You eliminated one survivor before they could even hit 10k BP and got a 4k. That end game screen shows you dominated that match and that haste stacking was not an issue for you. Maybe use video instead that shows the problem because the end game screen says the opposite.

I am not upset I hit a speed bump
I am upset because I thought I was going up against people that were cheating and the fact that the game lets you run that sort of thing is a serious problem-7 -
Clearly dominated the match, bullies the Taurie, gets a 4k.
Somehow Killer still the victim.
lol.
7 -
Taurie probably thought you were cheating too, if her points are anything to go by.
The fact that the game lets you do that sort of thing is a serious problem.
6 -
The difference being I'm not running a build that can be very easily confused with cheats
-6 -
Perks should not stack with each other, but they should stack with powers (such as Clown's tonic bottle). That was the only thing they should have changed, but instead they left some unjustified buffs and added new ones later... All this, having previously recognized that haste staking was a problem, which makes no sense. Well, actually this was all a curtain raiser to introduce Orela's new perk, which is going unnoticed despite being absolutely broken.
-1 -
Lethal can easily be confused with cheats.
9 -
Because its fun and this is a game supposed to be played to have fun
You can stack haste with both survivor and killer
Pick one, have fun

"This is so unfair for killers!"
[Screenshot of 4K]
Why is this a whole trend by this point?

She deserved it

When you against this build few killers can catch you up so you are forced to tunnel more, but someone who played gainst this at least two times would know that right?
-1 -
Taurie was slowest you know that red bull advert I dont need to be faster than lion, only faster than you.
Thats like you play against this kust focus on other two and then get them.
-4 -
Regardless, I feel sorry for Taurie.
7 -
Theres nothing you can do.
-3 -
I'm gonna assume it's cos in the endgame chat OP is complaining to the other survivors about how their haste stacking wasnt fun for him. Yet it doesn't look like he cared much for Taurie's fun lol
6 -
1-7 downvote is crazy. Power of 2 is inarguably a swf perk that completely dismantles M1 killers, if two players had power of 2 the whole match, and the last was immersed then yeah what should the killer have done differently.

I don't necessarily disagree that stacking several things in this game can be problematic and should probably not stack, haste being one of them.
But there's a pretty strong push from some very loud parts of the community that are very inconsistent on this.
Before the MFT nerf, people screamed, cried, and ######### themselves with tantrums about how overpowered haste stacking was, and BHVR listened to that by nerfing MfT into oblivion.
But after they nerfed MFT and were rolling out literally "we listened, and haste stacking is too powerful, so we're adjusting the perks and removing attacking across the board", many of those same people screamed, cried, and ######### themselves again to keep it. And BHVR backtracked again.
So at this point, with haste in particular, it's very clear that "it's overpowered. killers should have it but survivors can't" is literally the sentiment. That's not even hyperbole at this point.
3 -
I'm of the opinion that haste-stacking in its entirety should be removed
movement speed is always a very touchy thing to balance in pretty much every multiplayer game, Survivors being able to move at 112% with minimal effort and Killers being able to move at Sprint Burst speed with minimal effort is not fun to play against and blatantly overpowered
I genuinely would have been happy if BHVR had just told the community that they have no idea what they're talking about and went ahead with the haste-stacking removal
1 -
That's fair. Taurie is still holding her grudge against the Entity, just because it put her on the team she didn't want to be on.
1 -
You were harshly voted down for this comment, I thought! I gave you an upvote, because I do see what you mean genuinely and it must be frustrating in those circumstances.
But I do like the lighter side of things at times.
1 -
And people say this game isn't 50/50 split! :D

Yeah, it's that exactly. I just enjoyed the change in mood. It's a type of humour I like.
