Disconnection from host leads to 3 hour ban

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I received a ban after being disconnected from a game. Why did this happen?

PLATFORM: PS5

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

  1. Playing a game (getting tunneled?)
  2. Game seems to crash and I am kicked from game.
  3. Received 3 hour penalty.
