Pallet rebuilding Class (Can't remember its name)
Is the pallet rebuilding class any good at all? I've noticed as killer that not many survivors have been running it, so I'm assuming its not all that great.

The scout class? Yes! Very good! Intel on the killer, and you can rebuild strong pallets.
In my opinion that class are the most important. The other 2 are meh in terms of helping your team.

That’s scout, right? Scout’s main benefit is being able to see where the killers are. It’s a thankless but very important role in 2v8. I’ve had some matches with 4 scouts and it’s so great being able to basically always see where the killers are. If there is ever less than 2 scouts I will usually take that role because of how important it is for the team to be able to see killer location. I’ve had a lot of instances where I’ve been able to help teammates mind game jungle gyms or shack really well because I was revealing killer from afar while they were being chased. Wasting killer time like that is super impactful in 2v8. Pallet rebuilding is nice too, but not the main strength of the class, IMO.

Scout yes very good can reveal the killer to everyone and rebuild strong loop pallets

I feel like Scout is a weird one, cause other classes more is generally better, but I feel that Scout can be a diminishing returns type deal.
After all if 1 or 2 Scouts are revealing killer auras, and rebuilding strong pallets, that's good... but 3 or 4 doing it? Eeeeeeeh...
Though multiple Guides with Blast Mine, I've still not figured that out yet, cause that feels like the same kind deal to Scout... old Guides was definitely "the more the better", but new ones not so much. So things are kinda interesting atm.

You need a few scouts just so you don't run out of pallets in important zones but that's it. 2 scouts is more than enough, like medics. Guides are useless now. Escapists with sprint burst on command is the strongest tool.

A few Scouts are good and its a fun class to play as its the only one that gives you something unique compared to 1v4.

I think there are less Scouts this time around because it doesn't benefit you as much as it does the team, and 2v8 is even more selfish than 1v4. If the team was on comms, a Scout or two could ideally post at high positions and keep eyes on killers (depending on the map) while also prioritizing important pallets. But that won't be the norm in the chaos that is soloq 2v8.
I had the great satisfaction of having a killer charge at me while I was doing the rebuild only for me to finish it just in time to whack them with it. Worth picking the class just for that.

I think Scout has lost a little strength as more Killers have been added to the mode. Urban evasion and fixated can be pretty good against a Huntress but she's not as common as she was (Huntress was like Legion in the first few iterations, basically in almost every trial). Obviously those perks aren't so strong against a Wesker or an Oni. The shadow class, more indoor maps and Ghostie being added has also made the Scout a little weaker too.
That said, they're easily my favourite class. I like sneaking around revealing the Killers to my teammates and their stealth focus fits into my play style well.
Though I have been playing Escapist more often this time around (especially on Switch because looping isn't really a thing on Switch). I've found it to be a solid strategy to pop a sprint burst to get yourself out of dodge and hope you don't accidentally run into the other Killer.

Scout class is top tier you can rebuild or reset paletts and you can reveal killers aura to your teammates, after first cage you will get iron will when injured, second best is escapinst in my opinion sprintburst and quick and quiet on comand with windows of opportunity and after first cage you will get selfcare, then medic and worst calss in my opinion is guide he is just bad all you get is info on 8 gens and your team where to go for gen but then only other good thing is blastmine with wiretrap and that wont help that much, medik can make resets fast so you can go and do objective but for solo scout or escapist are the best class.

I play almost exclusively scout. It can be a thankless job but I see so many players staying alive even if only a few more minutes because I rebuilt an essential pallet. I also wish I had it when I'm trying to do a risky gen in a pallet deadzone. Knowing where the killer is with alert abilities allows me to work on a gen comfortably. Seeing the lingering aura of the killer helps me avoid mindgames midchase. Urban and iron will have saved me more times than I can count especially when being tunneled. I'm also one of the first ones to identity who the killer is on a spawn in when they break a gen or pallet. Escapist is undeniably the strongest class but you need one or at least two scouts in all your matches. The next time you run to safety because you saw the killers aura you can remember it was likely a scout that revealed it to you.

scouts feel bad when you get stealth killers, but thr auras are invaluable against the normal "meta" high speed killers like Blight, nurse Billy. although you counter Trapper too lol.
Iron will and urban has saved my bacon a few times, people don't expect stealth in 2v8. rebuilding the same shack pallet 5x a match is really funny.

also, the reveal is like a Still Sight that actually works in chase; you can play some bad areas a little better with the reveals
