Prevention for anti tunnel exploitation
With the new changes to tunneling coming we already know survivors will try to get these conditions trigger for their benefit. One method will almost definitely be using the exact same cosmetics in order to confuse the killer as to who they are chasing.
My solution is to have glowing tally marks that only the killer can see trail an inch behind the survivors who wear said matching cosmetics to signify who is who.
I am aware the entities claws twitch on the hud when someone is being chased but this is of no help when seeing survivors at a distance.
Tally marks are already a huge theme for the game as the literal logo and loading screen and i personally believe this would be an immersive lore friendly solution to one of many methods that will be used to exploit the tunneling changes.
