Why Freddy and The Dredge NEED to be in 2v8
If Behaviour truly wants to make 2v8 terrifying, the ultimate duo, to me, has to be Freddy Krueger + The Dredge. Both thrive on fear, disorientation, and darkness - together, they’d make survivors feel like they’re trapped in a horror movie they can’t escape.
Freddy punishes survivors who fall asleep, teleporting to them in the Dream World, while The Dredge bursts from lockers and stalks the shadows. Survivors wouldn’t know whether to run, hide, or even attempt healing - every corner and every generator could be a deadly trap. The combination of Nightmare + Nightfall would turn 2v8 into a pure terrifying experience, making every moment tense, unpredictable, and unforgettable.

Literally not happening, because Freddy is in multiple aspects somewhat a problem. On once the balancing side and on the other the licensing side. Since the character of Freddy Krueger indirectly has 3 different companies as owners

Daarn, I’d still love to see Freddy & Dredge in a 2v8, but yeah the licensing/balance stuff makes sense- thanks for sharing. I’ll stay optimistic though, maybe one day we’ll get Freddy and Dredge in 2v8. For now, looks like Pyramid Head and Dark Lord will be in the upcoming 2v8.

IIRC, no Killers in 2v8 currently have anything similar to the Dream World or Nightfall, right? I assume those visuals stacking might be a problem, and need some work in order to get them to play nice together.
