Endgame Anti-Camp and Other Changes
Here’s some ideas and changes I’d really like to see in the game as a 50/50 player - Please let me know what you agree or don’t agree with, can be on any point
- Anti Camp in the Endgame Collapse - I really think it’s really obnoxious for killers to camp around a hook during the endgame.Also, intentionally hitting a survivor on the hook is just childish and should greatly increase the anti-camp. The Anti-Camp meter should also be displayed in the HUD underneath or next to the health bar
2. Decisive Strike - Survivors should be able to use it in the endgame. Deliverance doesn’t deactivate so why does DS?
3. Unhooked Body Blocking - I actually liked the idea of freshly unhooked survivors not having any collision. I don’t think they should see the killer’s aura but not having any collision was great.
4. Ghostface’s Reveal Bug- I heard it so many times while playing both sides during 2v8. Please fix this. Also, P100’s should get a cute pink robe.
5. Killer Gen Perks Effects - Perks like Grim Embrace, Deadlock/ No Holds Barred, Pain Resonance, Eruption, Surge, Mercilles Storm, etc. should be displayed on the survivor’s screen as it’s happening. It’s shown for Hex Ruin, Mindbreaker, Overcharge, and I believe Oppression, but not the others. I think it’s pretty self explanatory as to what I mean, but if it isn’t, please let me know.
6. Play as Killer Tutorial - I think the tutorial should have every killer and not just The Trapper. It can only be for a maximum of three trials on each original killer. I don’t know how it could work on licensed killers. But it can be extremely helpful on deciding which killers to play.
7. Map Offerings - Just remove them and refund the blood points.
8. Survivors should be able to see each other’s perks in the trial. They could open their settings and see everyone’s builds on the same page as the offerings. This can be disabled in settings.
9. Killer Powers Description - The descriptions should include micro tips. Yes, you have to learn how to play your killer, but it’ll be better if we could actually read all of the things that we can and can’t do. Like explaining hit boxes for projectile killers and that survivors can gain temporary haste after grabbing The Knight’s flag once the horn is blown.
10. Killer Crafting Perks- I think it’d be really cool if M1 killers could craft items to help in chase and M2 killers could make something for generators. I’m not entirely sure what they could make but survivors already have Chem Trap and Flashbang, so why not killers?
12. The Tomes - I have no idea why the tomes can’t be accessed in the pre-game lobbies anymore but please put them back.
13. Killer Add On Bonuses- Every killer should have at least one add-on that gives extra blood points for using them.
14. Teleporting Killers- Excluding The Xenomorph and The Animatronic, killers with teleportation powers have such a boring black screen in between teleports. There’s definitely ways to make the screen more appealing than just a black screen.
13. Scratch Marks and Auras - There should be limited options to make survivor auras and or scratch makes different colors. Yes, there is a color blind mode and PC users can use reshading applications, but having other options could make the game look more visually appealing.
16. Lockers- Adding more lockers to maps that are lacking , specifically RPD ( for the Dredge mains). They should also be added to maps items.
15. The Trapper’s Mori- It’s just so boring and plain and could definitely be revamped.
16. Resident Evil Skins - Yeah the movies are awful but having an Alice skin or Sheva’s office suit would be sick to have for Jill Valentine. The Artist could have Mother Miranda and The Blight could have Moreau.
17. Interactive Map Objects - It would be cool if players would be able to bump into certain objects to really give into the horror and scares or create a distraction.
18. Limiting Endgame Chat- There should be options to choose from instead of free range. Such as " GGs, GGWP, GGN(ot)WP, GLWN, I had fun, I didn't have fun, That was tough, Let's play again, I don't want to play with you anymore, You're a tough one, LOL, LMAO facial reaction emojis”.
19. Maps- Bring back old map items or at least remove the ability to see killer’s items and replace it with the temporary windows of opportunity.
Also, The Nightmare and The Dark Lord should have their own maps.
19. Pre-Game Lobby Movement- It looks so boring to have survivors just standing in the pre-game lobby. What they could do, is load into the lobby sitting around the campfire and when the tbe game starts they stand up and run towards the right. Their items will still be visible and places to the left of each survive. Killers could be lurking behind a tall object or trees as to not give their identity away.
19A. When a trial begins, everyone should have a birds eye view of the map that hides generators, vault locations, breakable walls, and everyone's locations.After three seconds, the camera pans down to the player's face and the match officially begins.
20. The Ghoul- It’s really weird that the mark resembles Touka and Ayato Kirishima’s kagune when it should just look like a bite on the shoulder that eventually disappears over time.
21. Predator or the Yaujta- Why aren’t they in the game yet? We have the Xenomorph and the Yautja are literally hunters. Or, give The Deathslinger their skins.
22. Slugging- If two or more survivors are slugged and left to bleed out for more than 1 and a half minute, they should automatically be able to recover from the dying state to injured and consuming whatever item they have ( similar to the 2v8 option to recover but the item is completely gone) They will no longer be able to use ANY toolboxes or flashlights and be immune to killer instinct until they've recovered.
Perks and powers that won't apply in this scenario until fully recovered- Boon Exponential, Conviction, Unbreakable, Blood Pact, Adrenaline, Power of Two, For The People, Infectious Fright, Insidious, Hex: Face The Darkness, Blood Warden, Thwack, Shock Therapy and Static Blast, Plot Twist, Deerstalker, Teamwork:Collective Stealth, Nurse's Calling or any perk/hex that makes survivors scream and reveal their location. Also, their dying state health bar is fully until their put in the dying state two more times. After the second time, the bleeding out meter starts and they can't fully recover ever again.
I understand that bullying sabo squads or constant flashlight saves forces killers to slug everyone, so this is my idea to keep the match going.
Final thoughts for new survivors, killers, skins, and maps - Buffy Summers (survivor skin), The Nun and Crooked Man from The Conjuring universe ( killer skins for The Nurse and Unknown ), Sam and Dean Winchester ( survivor skins or some kind of perk that gives them a one time gun use that’s similar to DS or an invocation), Catnap from Poppy Playtime ( a killer because I love Poppy Playtime and he gets his own map), Venom or Carnage from Marvel ( killer skins because they do have some horror aspects in the comics), a jail/ prison map, an airport map with an airplane inspired by The Langoliers, The Amityville House (map), Cujo or Pennywise or even Children of The Corn , or some other killer from The Stephen King novels.
I’m aware there may be licensing issues for most of these but they’d be really cool to see.
I know this a lot to read but I really don't have the patience to break it up into multiple posts.
Remember, this is a video game that's meant to be fun and enjoyed by both sides. These changes are meant to make the game better for casual players and can be ignored by comp players or disabled in tournaments. Be kind and respectful in your responses. You can give constructive feedback without being destructive.
