Spawning survivors together was a mistake that didn't fix the problem it was suppose to.
More often then not they gen rush the nearest gen before I can get one hook state. I'm sick of being bottle necked into perks like Lethal. It's time to address gen progression as a whole. Toolboxes, perks and Co Op gen actions need to be looked at and addressed in a way that prevent them from doing that. I try and seperate on a gen as survivor and more often then not 2 other people want to gen rush the gen so ai see this from both sides. I usually do solo at the beginning until I figure out the killer because some you are better off by yourself like Billy and Bubba. If anything spawning them together made things worse and I want my BP offerings not shrouds that are useless

To the people who down vote with no rebuttal I hope the devs who read this don't look at it. I play both sides and see the issue with this from both sides. I had my team mates get plowed by a Billy while I was running to find another gen I see this happen with Bond way too much with killers like Blight and Nurse also. It's not a killer problem only. Unless I decide to reply to someone who put a constructive reply I won't be replying anymore but any Community Manager who sees this please don't look at the down and upvotes or if you do take into consideration people will just do that without any constructive rebuttal and throw them out. As the time of me posting this reply 2 people down votes without saying anything.

I agree with this, I have a hard time finding survivors in the beginning now, especially on Lery's.

the only issue with spawning now is the inconsistency in distance and floor from the killer, if each side always spawns opposite eachother and on the same floor then its fine.
when survivors spawn together, if they all work a gen and you find them you know where everyone or a majority of the team is, and you know exactly where you need to go after your first down. if you find a straggler quickly you can usually know the rest of the survivors are going to be in whatever direction theyre running away from, and you have the option to commit now or go try to interrupt more players. (not to mention multiple survivors working on one gen is mechanically less efficent, not just on a macro scale)
when they spawn split up, you might find one survivor sooner, but that gives you absolutely no information on the rest of the team or the overall gen progress. if you have a slow first chase with split up survivors, thats usually when you get 3 gen pops across the map or 2 pops and 1 high progress and its much easier for the first chased survivor to lead the chase far away from every teammate. when grouped together even if one gen pops quickly, they now have to spend time running around finding other gens and when they do find them theyre relatively much less progressed than if they had spawned split up.
especially considering the current meta of pain res + dms that can completely deny repairs on a single generator and is actively more detrimental when survivors are grouped there is absolutely no world in which survivors spawning apart is more beneficial for the killer if you know what youre doing and understand macro for both sides

2~3 survivors working on a single gen is infinitely better for you than them immediately spawning on 3 different gens and progressing them all while you're in your first chase. That first gen might go by faster, but would you rather 2 or 3 gens being nearly done instead?
