Map palette adjustments only widen the gap between M1 killers and top-tier killers.
Especially Ormond and Red Forest—already tough for Killer play due to their vast size, sturdy structures, and poor visibility for Scratch—now suffer from the addition of "exciting" double pallets, making playing M1 Killers downright painful. Is BhVR trying to get us to use Killers like Nurse or Bright more, or are they just admitting they can't adjust the maps at all?

Yeah completly agree, maybe they should add a numeric value to each killer so pallets get spawned according to how strong they are.
Just giving survs more paletts was short sighted anyways, now they just camp them even more, if they would learn to use tilesets and how to chase in the first place, instead of playing carerra racetrack on every tile that has a palett just because it's strong against non anti-loop killers, they wouldn't even need so many pallets to begin with.-1 -
Give m1 killers a flat buff to pallet breaking? If Trapper crunched pallets 20% faster he'd still only be B tier at best, but he'd be a lot less miserable. Same goes for a lot of them.

Trapper would be D tier even if you made every addon he has basekit.

I saw a suggestion that the number of pallets which spawn should depend on the killer you are playing. So playing Killers like Blight Ghoul Krasue would cause more pallets to spawn on the map, while playing killers like Trapper would reduce the amount of pallets on the map.
I think its a good idea, but I have basically no faith in BHVR's decision making as to which killers get extra or reduced pallets.
For example, my main Onryo struggles a lot against good survivors that know how to counter her due to how much control over your power they have, while also being an m1 killer which a good survivor can loop for days. However, Onryo is also very strong and oppressive against newer or less experienced players that don't know how to deal with her, thus giving her good kill rates. I can see BHVR looking at the numbers and basically saying Onryo should get extra pallets on the map due to her kill rate, which is absolutely unnecessary given how weak she is in chase.
If BHVR does implement a system like the one above, I would want them to do it VERY carefully and only give it to a few killers that are on the extremes of good or bad. Basically only give extra pallets to the absolute strongest killers (Ghoul, Blight) or reduce the number for only the absolute weakest (Trapper, current Skull Merchant)
