Myers Suggestions

I actually kinda like the Myers rework, it's good to see a dynamic charging power and Myers getting some depth, but he's definitely a underwhelming now that slaughtering strike is nearly an objectively worse lunge, so I propose some suggestions to fix that and also polish up some of his other areas

General

  • Switching from Pursuer Mode to Stalker Mode no longer puts the power on cooldown (was 3 seconds)

Stalking

  • Stalk Rate while standing still increased to 1.25 stalk points/second (was 1 stalk point/second)

Pursuer Mode

  • No longer reduces Terror Radius or Vaulting time (was -8 meters and -0.28 seconds respectively)
  • No longer increases Lunge Attack range, breaking, damaging, or stun recovery speed (was +20%)

Evil Incarnate

  • Duration increased to 60 seconds (was 40 seconds)
  • No longer reduces Vaulting time (was -0.28 seconds)
  • No longer increases Terror Radius (was +8 meters)

Slaughtering Strike

  • No longer has a cooldown (was 6 seconds)
  • Charging movement speed increased to 3.68 meters/second (was 3.22 meters/second)
  • Minimum charge duration increased to 0.75 seconds (was 0.5 seconds)
  • Minimum attack duration increased to 1.5 seconds (was 0.5 seconds)
  • Maximum attack duration increased to 2.5 seconds (was 1.5 seconds)
  • Missed and Obstructed Slaughtering Strike cooldown increased to 2.5 seconds (was 1.5 seconds)
  • Pallet and Breakable Wall Break cooldown movement speed decreased to 0 meters/second
  • Pallet Break cooldown duration decreased to 2.5 seconds (was 3.11 seconds)

Reasoning

  • Small moments of line of sight on a survivor that add up are just as crucial for Myers as they are any other killer that needs line of sight, but for moments like these specifically it seems he is unfairly punished by being stuck with 4.2 movement speed for a minimum of 3 seconds. He should be encouraged to go for stalks like these as opposed to ultra safe out in the open stalks, hence this change
  • The faster stalk rate while standing still is a mechanic I really like as it adds some depth to an otherwise lacking mechanic, though I find the difference isn't enough to make standing still an equally preferable option compared to moving, this should help with that while buffing him overall as well
  • The random stat buffs for Pursuer Mode are very uninteresting and seem like a bandaid akin to old Skull Merchant's haste more than anything, Pursuer Mode should stay focused on closing the gap in areas where Stalker Mode cannot, and maybe it could have some other interesting way of doing so, but stat buffs are not the way
  • For an "ultimate ability" type power that doesn't pause while carrying a Survivor and a power which is nowhere near as strong as say, Corrupt Purge, 40 seconds is just very lacking, and it was never made clear why this nerf was made in the first place
  • For the same reasons as the changes to Pursuer Mode, Evil Incarnate loses it's pointless vault speed bonus, as well as its TR increase since Myers's mobility is nowhere near that of other killers with 40m TRs
  • The recharge time for Slaughtering Strike feels misplaced and unnecessary, at least with a proper miss cooldown time which is suggested below
  • These changes should help differentiate SS from a basic lunge both in usage and strength by making the duration much longer and speed loss from charging less significant as it is on other killers
  • The miss cooldown should be increased as to keep it in line with other killer powers and to ensure Slaughtering Strike can't be spammed for easy mobility, as well as to further justify the removal of the 6 second recharge time
  • The breaking cooldown should be changed to be in line with other killers as well to keep SS focused on hitting Survivors directly, as is justified with the buffs to it
  • Despite some nerfs, this should absolutely be considered an overall buff
