Ash is just an April fools joke. They can't really make that video and come up with a survivor model for Ash if it is just an April fools joke right? My hope is that if it is an April fools joke that the joke is he won't be released tomorrow, but will be released in the future. If it is an April fools joke, it is a pretty epic joke though...

They wouldn't do jokes that cost this much money. So no, it isn't an April Fools.

"Elaborate" isn't the same as "expensive", though. They paid for a license, paid the original VA, and paid their staff to create the character model. Even if it started as an April Fools joke, it'd probably be more worthwhile for them to just go all the way.

Bruce cares so much about Ash, he would never do something like that. If it is a joke, then I would be more disappointed in Bruce than anything.
Also we have a character model, perks and everything anyway, not releasing it and making it a joke would be one of the worst business decisions I have ever seen.

I agree with everything you say. I don't think it is very likely that this is a prank. But any information from anywhere that is released on April fool's day is suspect. It would be nice to have confirmation from BVHR that this is NOT an April fool's day joke.

They announced it more than 2 days ago. We saw the perks over a week ago.
