Change the ######### struggle input
Tired of this game's outdated struggle mechanic being inconsistent with ping/lag ######### things over, not to mention sometimes just doesn't want to work for literally no reason at all....
Just get rid of the mashing/spam input...we have enough problems with this game that this is just a ######### cherry on top of this ######### sundae. Bad enough with longer wait times, camping/tunneling Killers, disconnects or loading into 3 man games....enough is enough

The struggle mechanic is indeed trash. If any mechanic is needed, it should be a puzzle of some sort.

dear devs,
i understand you want struggling to be an active experience. Pressing the button rapidly to help immerse us in the experience...
...
... so can we please get an option to change it to instead be a “press to let go” as a setting we can change to when we are done being immersed?

I wished the struggle phase used skill checks that are immune to debuffs while the game prioritize them. Prioritize meaning they wouldn't lag because the game made sure they are.

Rapidly mashing the space bar murders my hand(s) because I got carpal tunnel syndrome. I'd love almost anything else than furiously mashing that space bar.

No skill checks at that stage, please. It should just be a button if you want to give up.

Struggle skill checks won't be the end of the world. They could make them immune to debuffs and the severs could make sure that they won't lag at the cost of something else (probably cut your render distance since it's not important while hooked).
