What if injured would give a debuff?

Being hit and injured, losing constantly blood should give a debuff, what would give the survivors an incentive to heal and would slow down the game naturally. Buff teammate healing, so we have a big incentive to seek them out.

The debuff could be a mini Thanatophobia.

This solution relies on existing programming, would be easy and fast to implement and don't require to code entirely new objectives.

The only real additional downside to being injured besides bleeding and making noise that I could think of, is a very minor movement speed penalty. Like, 2-3% at max.

If that would be introduced as a game mechanic, a huge amount of others things would have to get adjusted. It's far from being fast and easy to implement.

That debuff would only make me want to tunnel them harder. Do you want survivors to cry? I do

It would also make perks such as Resilience and This Is Not Happening a lot more useful if there was actually something to worry about if you were injured but didn’t want to heal
