New survivor baseline
To close the gap between solos and swfs we should make these perks in one form or another the new base for every survivor.
My thought were:
-Bond SWF can tell each other where they are at all times
-Dark Sense Hey the killer is near X
-Deja Vu the gens are near X
-Empathy hey I am hurt near X please I need healing
-Windows Of Opportunity go to the gym X there is a pallet left to use
-Spine Chill Careful killer is coming towards you
-Open Handed Voice knows no limit
-Aftercare you know where your SWF buddy is heading who unhooked you
-Small Game Traps at X, I saw totems at Y
-Object of Obsession the killer is at X
-Plunderer's Instinct there is a chest near X
-Detective's Hunch Hey gens, chest, totems at XYZ
-Kindred Killer is face-camping me do stuff
-Premonition Careful killer is coming towards you
-Alert SWF Hey the killer is breaking pallet x or is kicking that gen
-Wake Up! Hey come to that exit gate it's already open
For clarification I edit my thoughts in and for all that are opposed to this idea, every voice user can do this already in live game.
The question is not, do we want this in the game, but more, should this be exclusive to voice users?

Over half of these perks shouldn't be made baseline.
2 -
In one form or another.
Everything that could be replicated with voice usage.

No. Holy fck.
0 -
Why not? All SWF current live are playing with this advantage and everyone using voice.
Just even the field.

-Bond, I can see this being fine.
-Dark Sense, No need.
-Deja Vu, this perk is useless.
-Empathy- Too powerful.
-Windows Of Opportunity- Too powerful for newbies and they'll waste pallets so fast.
-Spine Chill- Why?
-Open Handed- No.
-Aftercare- No.
-Small Game- Don't agree with it.
-Object of Obsession- This is just a troll thread at this point, please explain if you're serious why this would be healthy.
-Plunderer's Instinct- Can't agree.
-Detective's Hunch- Naw.
-Kindred- Definitely agree on this, it is really good.
-Premonition- No.
-Alert- No.

That seems a bit... strong.

Most if these shouldn't be baseline, all for the reasons @Poweas said

List of perks that don't belong:
-Dark Sense
-Deja Vu
-Windows Of Opportunity
-Spine Chill
-Open Handed
-Small Game
-Object of Obsession
-Plunderer's Instinct
-Detective's Hunch
-Premonition
-Alert
Because these perks are not ally tracking perks. SWF doesn't get free info on the Killer's location until one of them finds the Killer on their own first.
Same with chests, totems, traps and generators.

Because some of us enjoy actually playing solo and don't want all these handicaps!

Thanks @PhantomMask20763

Then please list all the advantages a full SWF squad is getting from voice.
What perks would represent the help and information voice CAN offer.

I'll shine some light on the SWF gap.
Bond, I don't agree with but I wouldn't be opposed for survivors to see other survivors whenever they are at the exit gates.
Small Game needs a totem counters like Thrill of the Hunt.

"Too powerful for newbies and they'll waste pallets so fast."
What do you mean? Are you a deranked Killer who wants easy games?(You are most likely not, but maybe you can get my confusion) I mean, Windows of Opportunity is one of the best Perk for new players. Personally, I would also not like to see it baseline, but maybe for the first amount of games/hrs played on DBD? It would help new players, but would not give such a big advantage for older players.
Maybe also a note how to get the Perk.
@Topic:
Other than Kindred, I dont see any of those Perks really as something that should be Baseline.

@Aven_Fallen I mean for killers will have either too smooth games or too rough games.
0 -
That's absurd. To compensate for this they would need to buff all killers to top tier.
0 -
Every team with voice has access to these perks in one way or another.
It is in the game for a selected majority. All Voice users.
0 -
Bait.
Anyone being serious about this would just say suvivors should have all the information available to them that other survivors know. Not list random ass perks that have nothing to do with the advantages SWF gives you.
0 -
Read my explanation. It's not bait.
These thing can be accomplished by using voice and to this day is getting used by all voice users. This is the gap between solos and voice.
It doesn't matter if you chose NOT to use the information given but these information is available to voice users.

IMO, if they really want to balance the game around voice comms, then they should introduce them with the muting option.
This is too complicated and still wouldn't solve coordinated SWF group issues since they can also plan what they are going to do. Perks themselves won't help people that much.
Also after this, it will still be difficult to buff every killer to top tier.
0 -
I think a better solution that could be more quickly implemented is that for every person in your swf group, you have to choose one of these perks for up to 3 slots if you have that many open slots.
0 -
I never asked to buff killers.
Yes coordinated SWF are even stronger. I agree with you.
This would only bring solos to the level of voice users.
0 -
The thing closest to voice comms in terms of strenght would be either predetermined messages or a ping tool.
Adding aira reading etc will only buff swfs more.
0 -
It will make the usage of the information more casual. Hardcore SWF can achieve all of this and even more right now on live.
A ping system like a simple action wheel would be great.

So basically leave the meta for perk selection and dump all the information we can get on us for free. I find survivor easy and relaxing, but if my hud starts over filling with info its just going to get annoying.
0 -
Well maybe we could add a HUD customization where you can check what kind of information you do want. So you can adjust your difficulty by adding a self chosen handicap vs voice users. So no one will be forced to use voice and those who think that it's unfair to gain these advantages can use them too.

I'm glad people agree on a Kindred Base Kit.
I like that.
