Ermmm it doesn't say anywhere that Clown can travel to and from the Entity's realm.....

It was a dev stream like a week or two after his launch. Other than that, it hasn't been mentioned since.
I wish I could provide a clip or an actual source so it doesn't look like I'm pulling this out of my ass lol.

No one plays Clown so they had to give him some more lore relavance.

He actually travels between the realms (crotus prenn, Macmillan,Red Forest,etc) He can't leave the entity's world.

Killers like the clown and Legion kind of lend credit to my theory that The Entity has favourites.
Clown is allowed to freely move around the entity's around.
The Legion were allowed to stay as a group rather than being split up or it only taking one of them ( it didn't even deform them in some weird hybrid way they're just a group of four teenagers)
However The Entity also seems to have some that it really doesn't like for example Trapper and Doctor considering it's has forced all those devices onto his body

He can't leave the Entity's Realm, he can travel between realm within the Entity's, so he could travel from the Thompson Farm to Lery's to Macmillan Estate. All different realms inside a bigger realm

If a DbD character were to have plot armor it would be Trapper.

The Entity tortured him to do its bidding. Evan didn't want to kill at first but was forced to by the Entity.

He can't travel out of the realm, only within it. He's the only killer who can travel around the realm on his own accord, he can't leave.

I always took his refusal to obey the Entity as stubbornness rather than morality.
He was fine massacring people if they messed with him or if they messed with his father; but he wasn't willing to slaughter people just because some godlike Spider Demon told him to.
I think the amount of scars and metal sticking in him is a testament to his iron willpower and his status as a Killer a testament to the Entity's depravity and adeptness for torture.

Can you give me a source for that? Last I recall, he more than willingly killed the miners at the direction of his father.

It tortured him it's a pretty weird way to show affection.
Especially when you can see that it gives privileges to clown and Legion
