Music/Sound Effects/UI/Chase Audio Slider

Why do I just get one master volume slider?

Why can't I adjust in-game music (especially chase), UI sounds, effects, environment sounds, etc?

Nearly every game made for over the last decade has had these options, what is BHVR's excuse for not having them? Last I checked this came out in 2016, or is this still in beta?

Yeah really! this game needs sound sliders.. Some of the sounds are just to damn loud like the music.

The sounds as well as the visuals should not be extensively configurable.

It should be exactly in the way the game was designed to sound and look like, so that every player has the same experience. If you make all that configurable, people will abuse it to their advantage (e.g. turn down chase music to better locate the opponent, turn up the brightness/contrast to be able to see even in dark corners).

Also, if it's true that "every game made for over the last decade has had these options", then it should not be difficult for you to name at least 10 of those games that heavly rely on sound and that are also asymmetrical multiplayer games. Once you name them, and maybe even provide some screenshots of the audio sliders, we can compare the options.

I agree visuals should not be configurable aside from graphics/performance.

Audio is a far different matter and should be able to be adjusted.

yes, but it's not just a matter of audio options, even the graphic ones aren't there, you can only adjust the graphics from low to ultra without advanced options

Normally, I would argue for "balancing" reasons. All killers would obviously mute their chase music, to hear survivors better. But since the game doesnt even have the most basic graphic settings, its simply because the game is still an early access (from the technical standpoint).
