Leatherface Buff Concept
As we all know Leatherface is quite underwhelming and is easily looped by most survivors when it comes to using his chainsaw, rendering him almost an M1 killer. To strengthen use of his chainsaw, the charge up meter should be broken into segments (3, maybe 4). For that first segment, it should a quick charge up for a single swing. This can be helpful in getting those quick chainsaw hits just before being looped. Each segment from there on out is an increased duration of his chainsaw rush (the way he uses his chainsaw now), and also with an increased acceleration to each segment filled up when charging the chainsaw. His acceleration feels rather weak at base level at the moment (in my opinion), so it seems like that could use a slight increase. Now to prevent the single swing from being overpowered and rendering his chainsaw rush useless, the killer should have to be very close to the survivor in order to perform the single swing. In the case that the killer can't get close enough to single swing before the survivor finds a loop, the chainsaw rush should be able to be used to catch up just before they reach the window/pallet (the more segments of the charge bar being filled up, the further away Leatherface can be when he begins his chainsaw rush at the survivor). With the implementation of a quick swing of his chainsaw, this should help in handling those survivors who are really good at exploiting loops. Also, only the charged rush of his chainsaw would be able to take down multiple survivors at once. Now I'm not sure if it would be too powerful to allow the single swing of the chainsaw to break pallets (as the single swing is meant mostly for the quick strike for an insta down if the meter gets charged enough). If the quick swing were to break pallets for Leatherface, it would definitely push him into a higher tier killer [as he would have very fast loop counters and quick insta downs]. If not, he would still only have to charge up to the segment in which he begins to chainsaw rush in order to break a pallet, which is slightly faster than having to fully charge for a pallet break. This idea of pallet breaking could also be implemented into add-ons for Leatherface as well. Overall, this would increase the usage of his chainsaw in matches where survivors are effectively looping the killer. It would also take him from a lower tier killer to a higher tier killer. Another proposed change that is minor to go along with this would be for a decrease in his side to side chainsaw swing distance. This could help in making it slightly easier to avoid bumping into things, but isn't necessary in developing this new concept for his power. Let me know what you guys think.

Can you maybe break that wall of text up mate? Anyway this is interesting. So how long you charge for is how long you sprint? Ok. A little bit complicated but has potential to be COMPLETELY IGNORED BY THE DEVS. Great idea but would probably never happen.

he doesn't need a rework the only thing's that need to change is the speed of the chainsaw and the movement speed while charging.

You cant buff leatherface, he was literally designed to camp people to death, hes already really annoying to save against, especial basement, he'd need a complete change other than flat number changes which I don't see the devs doing anytime soon, he's fine where he is.

Yeah I had it broken into paragraphs, but it wouldn't keep it that way, sorry. But yeah it's bound to be ignored by the devs, I just figured it was worth a mention since poor Bubba is not living up to his expectations.

Interesting concept. Not sure what I think about it.

My idea was just make him faster overall. Would be simpler and do the job. That's really all he lacks is a bit of speed.

I play Bubba quite often (as I just love the Texas Chainsaw series), and I can tell you that speed is not the issue. It's his chainsaw in that it's slow to charge with bad maneuverability. To make his chainsaw more effective it either needs a buff or an entire rework.

fix object hitboxes so you stop bumping on objects that you are not touching (the fence openings on preschool come to mind)
