Fire Up Discussion
Despite being a weak perk I've had an interest in Fire Up for a while now, it's a really cool concept you start the trial with fire up inactive but through the course of the game Fire up will activate and become increasingly stronger as survivors complete their objective. It's a cool investment perk but in it's current state it's just so useless
The max 21% increase in speed happens only at the end of the game and if you are not running an endgame build, the player will see very little use out of it. By the end of the game there are very little pallets left where survivors need them, and if windows have been an issue bamboozle comes with an immediate 15% vaulting speed increase along with the ability to block a window. Brutal Strength is a 20% breaking speed increase the entire game so if Fire Up is meant to counter pallets then Fire up has completely failed
The problem with Fire Up is that if made too beneficial it immediately becomes an essential perk because doing things faster is essential as a killer but if left like it is, it's pretty much a joke perk
What do you all think of it and how would you buff/rework it?

what if it were to increase your movement speed?
numbers would have to be discussed of course, but what about a 1% or 2% speed increase with every token?

I think the token system should be brought back with some stat changes to make it more interesting and progression based
0 Generators done: No stat increase
1 generator done: Pick up and drop speed increased to the max 21%. This stat is interesting because no other perk in the game affects it, this is a very situational stat that I don't see any problem with having be at max. It allows the killer to get some sense of use out of the perk
2 Generators done: 10% increase in breaking speeds and 5% increase in vaulting speed
3 Generators done: Breaking speed is increased to 15% and Vaulting increased to 10%
4 Generators done: Breaking speed is increased to 20% and vaulting to 15%
No generators left: Breaking speed increased to 30% and Vaulting to 20%

I agree that it's a really cool concept but ultimately pointless. I think it should give the full benefit at 3 tokens. It would still be a niche perk because there is no real mechanism for "comebacks" in this game. How you start often determines the outcome. It's why Fire Up is kind of pointless. It can help you secure downs in end game situations, but those will be meaningless if you haven't accumulated hooks prior to that. You typically need 3 total hooks to kill a survivor, not one really cool hook. Plus, survivors are so much harder to "put away" late due to BT/DS/Adrenaline/Instaheals/Unbreakable. You're better off focusing on early game pressure because they're often invincible once the gens are done if you don't have NOED.

I think fire up shloud give 20% boost to breaking pallets etc not when 5 gens are done, but when 3 gens are done.

I wanna like fire up. I really do.

LOL, that would be ridiculously overpowered, you clearly don't play at red ranks to come up with a suggestion like that.
5-10% consistent movement speed bonus for allowing the gens to be completed??? Move over NOED, lets just buff Fire UP to be the new BS perk that everyone will abuse/complain about.
