Everyone says Billy is most balanced character BUT
I think Hag is 100% the most balanced killer. She takes quite a bit of know how and can have a huge effect on the game while not remaining overbearing on pro-survivors and not being too underbearing for noobie-survivors.

Im a Hag main and I also think she is very balanced (if played efficiently). This does not mean that Billy is not balanced. I think those two killers are both in good spot and shouldnt be touched by the Devs.
6 -
Im not saying hes unbalanced im just saying in my opinion Hag is the most balanced killer
1 -
I think those two killers are not really comparable. They work in a different way. But its interesting whom people see as balanced. But I totally get why you think Hag is more balanced than Billy. In my opinion they both have (depending on their addons) a balanced gameplay mechanic.
3 -
They want to gave him new addons some day, and we know what happens to Killers if they need some addon changes.
Cough... Nurse... Cough...
15 -
I think the only thing which would ever need a change would be insta saw since its basically just standing behind someone and getting a down but hopefully they add new effects. Like idk maybe something that allows your chainsaw to break pallets faster
0 -
Please not. Nurse gameplay is not enjoyable at all and way too easy to counter as survivor.
3 -
I'm glad that I learned Nurse before this change, if I didn't have an experience with Nurse and wanted to learn her I would stop after few games, because she is just so boring now.
0 -
Either way, both are balanced, which is fine for me Lol
0 -
I would love to see some Ultra Rare addons for Hillbilly and Bubba that allows them to destroy pallets without them stopping their chainsaw sprint.
0 -
that would be intresting but im wondering how the animations would work
0 -
It's called slapping on spirit fury.
Hillbilly is super strong, probably could use some nerfs to some of his insta-saw add-ons. Even if you can't hit back-revs, he is one of the best killers in the game just because he can patrol the map so quickly.
Hag is very overpowered if you are willing to play scummy. But most people don't know how to play her very well.
2 -
Exactly, I started playing her as soon as she got released. And even as a Legacy 3 nurse I do not enjoy playing her.
1 -
Hag is balanced but imo not fun to play or play against 9 out of 10 times. Hag just camps so well. If a Hag never ever puts down a trap under the hook, she’s fun to play and to play against. The reality is, however, she just camps sooo well and boring to play against.
2 -
I think billy is horrible to play against because if you get unhooked hes instantly back plus as soon as you aren't at a pallet its just a free down for him
0 -
If this game was balanced, Hag would be broken, LOL.
0 -
“Billy is the most balanced killer” is just a meme spread by people that only play killer. It’s not true.
5 -
Shhhh! Don't say good stuff about Hag. It's bad enough these bad Killers got one of her perks nerfed. Let's just go back to talking about how good Hillbilly is and not mention Hag anymore before they decide to rework her for the heck of it.
2 -
Literally Hag is the worst killer I cant imagine a killer whos more F tier than hag *wink wink*
0 -
Hag and Billy are propably the most balanced because they can be really powerfull without add-ons, they only make playing as them slithly stronger but not relling on them (examples are trapper and plague) So I'm worried if they change Billy add-ons this will colapse.
0 -
I would disagree. Billy can be used adequately without addons, or even perks at times, and has the huge plus of speedy mobility.
Hag on the other hand is an easy loop without addons and with Urban Evasion. She is significantly less powerful. If anything, she needs a buff.
1 -
That's more like it! Such a horrible Killer! 😉😉
0 -
Billy's instasaw add ons are not balanced I think, he's strong enough without the superfast saw charge.
3 -
Are you good hillbilly? i bet my SWF group would wipe the floor against your billy. He can be looped quite easily
1 -
Everyone says he can be looped quite easily and yet everytime I go against a Hillbilly he ends up having almost every hit on a survivor done with his chainsaw.
Your average survivor will go down to an average Hillbilly. You need the survivors to be vastly better than the Billy.
0 -
I wish Hag could teleport only to traps she is facing to have at least some kind of counter play to triggering all traps at the same time that acknowledged survivors tend to do in order to destroy her. Otherwise, she's my favorite killer alongside with the Pig.
0 -
Its not a meme. They mean base billy, no charge addons involved. And good survivors agree with that statement. Its not a thing spread by people that only play killer. He's strong but he still has to deal with pallets and windows (unlike spirit and nurse)
1 -
She is bad vs coordinated survs (SWF that plays well)
She is good vs don't aware survs
She can easily camp a hook with distance, which is what every hag tries to exploit.
So no, not consistent, not fun to play against comparing to billy
Billy is loopeable but still strong. Fun to verse, very strong if you have mecanics.
0 -
Na, a very good billy is loopeable.
The thing is 95% of the playerbase is bad
3 -
So then maybe Billy is too easy to use for how strong he is.
The average survivor may be bad, but they can easily pick up a Billy and trash a team of players of the same skill level. Why does the survivor require so much more skill?
2 -
Or cough Spirit or Oni?
0 -
Untrue. Playing survivor well enought to loop for a while a good billy is quite easy if you have some iq, experience and you are not an overall potatoe. I'm excluding 95% of the survs here.
Even if billy has speed or instachainsaw addons he is very loopeable.
If somebody is bad is his problem, improve before asking for nerfs.
Playing billy at a very high lvl needs thousand of hours, a lot of skill and dedication. And still he gets looped if survs are decent.
An average billy in rank 1 gets destroyed by good survs.
1 -
And from what I see, regardless of rank most of Billys hooks throughout a trial are done by chainsaw.
My point is that most survivors go down to it. The people playing Billy aren’t really any better than the survivors. Just take a few add ons and anyone can be boosted by him.
Again he has too much strength for how easy he is to use.
Don’t get why the community focused on Spirit when in general people struggled much more to play Spirit than Billy.
2 -
Personally if Billy's chainsaw put you in 10 seconds deep wound timer and was given a turn add on and a reduced cooldown in his base kit I would find him better to play as and less annoying. Maybe this would suit an add on better.
I always feel bad for insradowning with a chainsaw.
0 -
Billy will be more balanced once the Devs rework his addons with possible slight tweaks to his basekit.
0 -
Spirit is still a really strong Killer and Oni is getting his flick back in the 3.5.0 patch.
0 -
So you could destroy my premade playing Billy 🤣?
If he is that easy you should be a champion
0 -
A minority of exceptionally good players can loop a Billy yes, that doesn't change the fact that average Hillbillys still land about 20 instadowns per game on a team of survivors of the same skill level.
No other killer in the game lands that many instadowns per trial. None even come close. Not Oni, not Myers, not LF, not GF.
1 -
I'm curious as to where you got that statistic
1 -
If killers get nerf because survs are bad then good players will escape and stomp easily any killer.
No game is balanced around bad players.
Billy is pretty loopeable, you have to learn how to play surv. Not personal, is what I would say to anyone that asks for demands without having learned the mechanics of the game.
It's Like balancing the game around Bronze or silver in League of Legends.
It simply has no sense at all.
2 -
I'm a survivor main and think Billy is the perfectly balanced killer. He's strong without being oppressive.
0 -
But here's the thing...
You put all the blame on survivors saying survivors are bad, but there's never any taking into consideration that the Billys are equally as bad. I would bet the survivors going down to Billys chainsaw are the same people wrecking teams with Billy.
I've had games where he downs my entire team within the first minute, I then proceed to loop him for 4 gens. So it's not like the people playing Billy are good players.
My point is why does a mediocre Billy get to destroy mediocre survivors? why is the onus on the survivors to play well but not on the Billy?
Isn't that the complaint killers mains have with weak killers? that the onus is on them to put hundreds of hours into making someone low tier like Doc viable?
1 -
If average Billy can get average survivors, then why the fk people think Bubba is so bad. Bubba is just a better Billy at close range isn’t it? Btw, Curving Billy is not average. In fact, I think many survivors just fk up against Bubba too. Is Bubba too strong?
0 -
Hags decent..though I think her range limitation is pointless..just creates time waste we wont be able to afford soon
0 -
Billy and Hag both seem pretty well balanced. I think Hag is suffering more from getting "dedicated" right now, but before that trash started they were both in a good spot. Think the only thing missing from Billy is a UR add-on? He has some nice ones though, so I really don't think he needs any attention at the moment.
Why not give the Pig some love? She's the one most affected by nerfs lately, and in the past. EGC really screwed her up.
1 -
What I like about hag is she takes skill to learn and really get good at, like the nurse. Once you do get good, they’re very hard to beat. Billy is easy and gets a lot of kills without skill, which is why he’s so popular, but also why I don’t like him. He’s great for new killers but once people rank up they tend to move on to other killers.
1 -
Maybe on a map like the preschool or Thompson house, but you will still be burning pallets pretty fast against a good billy.
Get shelter woods or sanctum of wrath against a really good billy? You may as well throw in the towel.
1 -
Bubba slows down with his chainsaw, Billy doesn’t. So bubba is forced to M1 more. Bubba becomes more dangerous as the game goes on and pallets decrease, Billy starts out with instadowns from the start.
Basically LF normally starts out with M1s and gets instadowns later. Billy is just instadown after instadown after instadown right from the start with no rest inbetween.
0 -
Hag is the most boring killer.
I'd rather play against Billy any day.
0 -
The only time Billy gets "instadown after instadown" is when either one of the survivors is terrible at pallet efficiency and screws the rest of the squad by leaving them with nothing to work with, or all of the survivors don't know how to run tiles.
0 -
All I’m saying is from my experience it doesn’t matter which rank I play Billy tends to get instadown after instadown all game long, and you can say the survivors aren’t good but honestly the Billys aren’t good players either. Only time Billy gets looped is when it’s an exceptional survivor.
Its funny how when people go down to Spirit its “spirit OP”, and when they loop a Spirit its “bad spirit” but when people go down to billy its “bad survivors” and when billy gets looped for 5 gens its “billys balanced, survivors op”
There is some real double standards.
