Possible answer to ruin.

So I'm sure this has been brought up but haven't seen a thread regarding the idea so I bring this thought to the table. One of the huge issues with gen speeds being changed due to mapsizes keeping most killers from being able to properly apply pressure is that it would make some of the percent based speed perks like thanataphobia, pop goes the weasel, prive thyself, and so forth harder to balance. What if instead of changing speeds the amount of generators required got tweeked instead based on map size. Perhaps say the smaller maps stay at the 5 gen completion vs red forest 6 or evem 7 maps. This change would be enough for killers to get the ball rolling without adding a lot of mathematical problems for the devs to try to balance around. The extra gen would buy killers the overall time that the old ruin was needed for and would even be consistent without being overly frustrating for new survivors.
