Even the best killers around pretty much agreed that without ruin they would have to play less "fun" for survivors.
If you don't have enough time in the game what you will do? Slug, camp and tunnel when it's a good counter to survivors playstyle.

Which means only play killers who can apply pressure. People are mad because they like the other killers. Michael is already less threatening. I'm gonna enjoy this patch. Survivor was already easier than killer.

Survivors can whine about past survivor nerfs all they like, but the fact is there aren't enough killers to go around already and this nerf to ruin is huge- yes ruin needed a change but they needed to do something to help gen times as well. You are soon going to have a lot of killers that dont want adapt to unfair gen times either playing survivor and making the queues longer, or playing something else or doing something else for fun, because playing sweaty killer with current gen times with no way to slow it down early against competent survivors isn't fun, on console your only option is going to be hillbilly, spirit or freddy. PC gets nurse as well. Survivors are going to be in for a shock when queues go up 30% or more two days after this nerf.

There will be more changes in the future. This is the first step in fixing the flow of their game in my opinion. They are consistently making changes on both sides. Killers will be getting buffs or map sizes will change after these gen speeds for sure.
If they keep reworking old maps to make them better I’m all for it. That’s the games biggest downfall, infinite loops and too large of maps. Better map design, better ways to outsmart the killer/apply gen pressure.

Countless highly skilled, some of the best killers in the game all making videos about how this is a bad change or a bad change when it is not followed by any other changes. An overwhelmingly negative response regarding the changes by the entire community as a whole.
Evidently, nothing can change their mind since I suppose they know best.

I don't understand people who says to adapt.
Here, we take away your pallets and windows, and hiding spots if any. Go and try to adapt to that.
With how most maps are huge/bad design and with alot of killers not having good map pressure abilities, we can't adapt or apply pressure.
Like how can you say "just adapt" when I'm playing huntress on coldwind or haddonfield?

You forgot trapper can trap exit gates

You forgot trapper can't be at two places at once.
One trap it set off, killer goes to said trap, then the other trap is set off and so now the survivor are freely able to open one gate and still escape.

Biggest problem with BHVR is they cant do changes for player happiness and for game balance. They n we ed to choose one or the other because if you change something just to make the game more enjoyable that's not always going to help the games balance. Changing things for balance wont always make players happy either. One way or the other stop trying to do both.

What a dumb point. You don’t need SC in the first place and it wasn’t even nerfed hard. Ruin on the other hand was a most have otherwise the game gets handycapped.

Wow. It's almost like people rely on things because they're needed. Unless you think all of the people who play killer have never played games without Ruin against decent survivors, realized how terrible the game is without Ruin or a perk that slows the game down at the start, and went "Wow, this is awful!"
Any bets on Corrupt being hit next? Or is that being in 80% of games okay because it's not unfun? Lol
