I need tips to play and learn as The Clown
I do great as my fav killers but seems i cant do anything right as the Clown.
Looks like i dont understand him at all, they escape like too easy, feels like im not adding any pressure, and his power doesnt feel that helpful at all, not even in chases, where he is supposed to shine.
What can i do to get better as The Clown? Some tips or tricks?
Someone got a video guide with him or something?

Clowns lack pressure in the map so try to run perks that help buy time on the generarors.
Your bottles should be used as a herding mechanic. Try to use the gas to intimidate the survivors at pallet loops but throw it on top of them when they're out in the open.
The gas spreads further if you aim higher at the top of walls or trees, even the top of the pallet if your aim is good enough.
I find Brutal Strength is a must for him. Slowing the survivors down with the gas and having faster breaking speeds really make him shine.0 -
Also... As horrible as this is going to sound... Try and make use of the yellow cork and VHS Porn to get used to throwing bottles at survivors. The faster speed and reload time helps a lot in not losing people.
Don't underestimate open windows either. There are TONS of open windows with generators on the other side so feel free to lob a couple in to throw at people. Killer shack also has a skylight you can throw through if you're feeling confident.0 -
Oh okay let me give you some real actual tips here since I've been playing the clown since he released. I'm not going to be an ######### until you to play another killer. I'm going to give you actual tips.
1. You're going to need reload speed if you want to get used to throwing those bottles.
+ seriously use both of the reloading speed add-ons and get used to just throwin those bottles.
2. Predict where they're going not where they already are.
+ this one goes without saying but those bottles have an arc to them. Even more so than the huntress so you have to aim ahead.
3. The gas does have a spread.
+ó_ò I like to think I don't need to explain this but some people never really get this point. If you aim the gas at the ceiling believe it or not it will actually spread to the entire room.
+ also this works for PC and console but if they are trying to do some stupid 360 bullcrap just aim at their feet if they are very much known to do it in your game.
4. Cut off Escape Route.
The clowns main ability is that he can destroy looping. If they're trying to Loop cut them off and get the hit forcing thing them to leave or drop a pallet.
5. Use perks that synergize with your abilities.
Believe it or not I don't use ruin because you don't really need it if you know how to slow the game down. That being the case I use Aura seeking perks like bitter murmur or barbecue and chili.
Those are my top two perks because if I can send to where you are I can hunt you down.
There's a pretty much my tips for right now unless you want me to alright give you my build. I hope you enjoy playing clown he's probably in my top five for being the most powerful at the moment.

I think the biggest thing is learning the maps and knowing the correct time to throw bottles.
You need to predict where survivors are trying to flee and cut off that escape route.
Do that, and survivors will be forced in a unfavorable situation.
