Can't we all just try and have fun.
Like, can we remember games are meant to be fun, yes there will be people giving me a list of the game is not fun because of this and that and the other. I guess the saying that finds me here is, "when the fun stops, stop" sure it's for gambling but it's sort of the same thing given gaming is addicting. But can we just remember this is a game, to least have some fun, be a bit more positive, give things time if we can do? I enjoy and have fun with my swf peeps, we aren't serious at all, we laugh, we die, we sand bag one another sometimes, but it's fun. Yes I myself get stressed as a killer so I rarely play it, so I don't since I don't overly enjoy and just play either solo surv or swf.

i'd love to, but it's not easy to have fun if you need to wait nearly 30 mins to get into a game and once you finally find it, you go against a rank 13 killer ...

A lot of people feel like you. They either decide to play survivor or another video game.
Those who care about the game will post on the forums, Twitter, Reddit etc. because they want the game to get better. Those who don't really care won't write anything and just silently move on.
Do you prefer those who will just keep quiet and go to another game?

Right, and then I crank out 2 gens, work a third with someone else, all while poor rank 12 Piggy chases one elite looper.
So we queue up for 10 minutes, get a 5 minute game, and take a black pip...

This is true. It's just that you can contribute to the topic of balancing in a normal way, but many people just go crazy like there life depends on this game, think this game is now ruined with the nerf to Ruin, or just get incredibly offensive towards devs or people who have different opinions.
Also, even if the game's balance isn't perfect. people can still try and enjoy it and not take the game so serious. Cause that's not really healthy. And people can at least try and understand the balance changes devs make and not immediately go crazy.
Letting devs know what you think about the game's balancing is important, no doubt. But the way some people do on these forums is just ridiculous, and even causes concern about their mental health.

But to give my 2 cents on this topic... I'm going to enjoy playing this game the way I want as killer (without facecamping) but the tunnel and proxy camping will be in play... but unfortunately I might only play as the Pig seeing as she's the only killer I have a build the works for me and if the game ends in 5 minutes I can either open the door or go far away from the doors (I won't be at the gates hitting you out sorry, don't even bother trying)

Pig is fun too, I hope you’re at least enjoying the games a bit. I play killer too and against some teams I just get absolutely demolished, but 9/10 times they still say GG at the end without bragging.
I do the same as survivor, especially in a case like all red rank versus someone lower. And if the game is lopsided I just leave at the gate, no teabagging or farming attempts made. Hopefully we all get a better match next game

I've honestly stopped playing at this point. Queue times are too long for survivor and due to match making, it's not possible for me to play with friends. Maybe I got burned out on the tome, or maybe it was the way people stopped trying to win and just worked on challenges (to the point of purposely sabotaging teammates to get flashlight saves) but I'm just very done with this game for now.

Killer is too frustrating and unfair sometimes, and survivor is to easy when I can just loop anyone but spirit 2 minutes and the game is over soon after.

On the other hand a rank 13 killer has a bit of a wait as well so I'll say its definitely not fun for a newer person just starting to grasp the basics to play a bunch of skilled survivors just to lose and Depip. It's never fun to be "I'm starting to get good at killer this games pretty fun" then dominated by people who are unaware that your not really that good.

Yes but as we see, complaining gets no one anywhere, and if it does is purely on the devs choices, the point i am trying to make is try to see more positive, they are doing the best but it's like for the love of pig buckets just chill, find another game for a bit or just try and least find the good were the bad is

But when does it end? will it? this sort of stuff is going to continue and we should know this, so she we need to learn how to try and have fun with this game, as this game has always been full of faults/complaints/bugs etc and i think very much it will be....there needs to be a happy medium and if some can't find it perhaps rethink things.....i don't play killer now as i am not having the fun...i took a break from it before.....came back and had fun, have to do it in small portions but right now taking a break....not all my matches i have fun as some are meh but i have fun least talking with swf peeps too
@Mister_xD sadly though that is the number 1 agenda for a surv, is what they are meant to do, without any second objectives etc it's purely what survs have to do to escape....i mean if the game goes to quick and can't be helped it's a meh game

The thing is, most teams only say gg if the demolish you. if you kill even one of them, its just flaming and insults at the end of the game.
GG in this community means "i won, you lost" 95% of the time.

I already said me personally i don't have fun as killer and nothing to do with perks, hence that is why i play surv and try look for positives, if you haven't anything nice to say don't post to my thread please.

I play killer, you can say main or whatever I’m about 50/50 because mornings I get insta queue as survivor and evening I get insta ad killer...
I have no problem getting gen rushers, managing 1 kill with maybe 7-8 total hooks and telling everyone GG at the end. Once in a while someone gives me the “get good,” or “EZ game very EZ,” but I would say 9 times out of 10 they all the me GG and GL and we move on

Sadly my fun is winning games. Getting 4k's and double pips or just pips and having fun and interesting chases or mindgames are my fun as killer. I don't enjoy downing one guy and hearing 3 gens pop or hooking someone and seeing 3 survivors on 3 different gens. I don't enjoy leaving survivors mid chase because i know i will waste 2 minutes chasing them only to get dragged into another loop. Ruin change destroys early game for 80% of the killer playerbase, now i can't even have fun with bad killers and play in a fun way because i will get absolutely backslapped by the survivors.
I love killer, still gonna play through the ruin nerf but i just hate playing the damn game. I take 5 to 10 minute breaks in between games because of how infuriating all the little things are. And i can't just change my viewset because I'm a competitive person in nature, telling me to meme around with a meme build and have fun will end up hurting me because i want that win.
There are a bunch of small, tiny things in dbd that just ruin it and all together they make one giant hole in my heart

As a killer main I want to have fun and do what I find fun in the game but every patch the devs nerf killers giving me less and less options to have fun because what I find fun is a build that turns to frustration at around rank 10 because survivors know how to counter it because it's easily counterable and it's not fun to just get ran around the whole game barely hitting people because the fun build is weak so I then have to either switch to an optimal killer and build, stop playing or derank myself but fighting much weaker survivors isn't fun, I want to play the game and the optimal killers and builds is something I don't find fun. I've tried becoming a survivor main but it's so easy running killers around it's not fun. I find myself barely playing causing rank reset to send me back really far and I just farm BP without killing them so I can upgrade my characters so when the devs actually do something good towards the game my killers and survivors have all the perks. Every patch I see a change that'll ruin my fun because the devs only care about the rank they are in being at around 15 where survivors aren't nearly as good so theI repeatedly nerf killers

I personally have fun playing killer (plus the decent BP and fast queue is a bonus) but I practically force games to be fun since i dont care about necessarily winning and just want to meme around (tbagging with survs as ghostface)
Luckily I dont get many toxic people that would make it unfun but I've certainly seen a decent amount around. I'll keep making my games fun even if it means I depip
