Two days and ruin dies. Unnecesary nerf for a survivor main perspective
I hope you guys be ready for the tunneling, camping, slugging, moris and iri addons. Genrush will be boring for us survivor mains and annoying for killer mains. Also queues will be longer for survivors. With Ruin nerf will begin a dark time to DBD for all, survivors and killers. Just two days...

Its been almost every game for me for a while now so it won’t make a difference lol.
At least with Ruin gone it gives more time to get the totems.

I frankly have no remorse for killers that automatically switch to doing this just to 4K. People relied on ruin too much. Sometimes I feel like some killers should learn how to not rely on it and use other perks that relate to slowing the game down.

There will be a short period of adjustment and then everyone will have a new style of playing, along with the big new problem/change that will "kill the game." After all, this can't be DBD without a big game killing change. Then it will be another period of adjustment, and then there will be another change, and another after that.
Dark times? No, probably not. Annoying times while everyone learns to play different? Most likely.

Dude literally a good team can do 5 gens in less than 10 min. Tell me where's the fun in that for both sides? For survivors, boring af holding M1 all match. For killer frustrating af. Even with Ruin that happened to me a lot of times. With new ruin this will be almost every match. Killers needs slow the game down a bit.

See how you said Killers need to slow down the game a bit, thats what Im trying to imply. Killers should've used different slowdown perks instead of relying on ruin. Now that ruin is being reworked, they won't be able to do anything and will probably rely on tunneling and camping (Which is bad) just to get a kill.

Just run pop, at least that perk will be active for more than 1 minute.

People will adapt but people will also leave too.
This isn't a measure of how much fun you have as killer, this is about those who would have been playing killer anyway. These players will have a horrible time more often and that's indisputable.

Too be fair this is kinda what survivors did when instas were being nerfed , they all started using them while they still could just to mess with killers.

😂 I cant help but laughing at people with titles of them counting down the days of ruin changing. What makes me laugh is that, people will still use it even tho they don't want the changes. I for one I'm glad I never relied on ruin or even use it, so I can judge happily from the side lines. Both sides suck, yes killer is getting a little more bullcrap then survivor right now, but hey ho, it's just a game, I will go on having really good matches and really crappy matches as survivor and killer, all that you can do lol well there is leaving the game for good, but we all know how that goes, you leave, and a month or 2 later you hear a killer coming out and you back lol although they royal screwed up Oni so early that his time in the spot light got cut shot to way to quick.

I love how it is already the latest excuse for camping and tunnelling. Like Killer mains didn't do this with current ruin. If you're a tunneller/camper you're gonna do it no matter what.

I dont have Hag, but when Ruin appeared on Shrine, all I thought was "I must buy"
But after 5 matches or so, Ruin is so unreliable, or its just me had bad luck that Ruin always destroyed in under 3min.
Im rank 15 Killer but usually able to dominate a pack or Green rank, and in rare time Purple (still epic lose sometime though), Ruin nerf never affect me.
I prefer to toy with Survivors rather than killing them. Though Gen done abit fast so I can not toy them to the max, so sometime they think they out played me when I let them escape.

Doubt it. Have you seen the responses the devs have given. They were essentially telling killers to "Git good". If they saw the problem and had some plans of fixing it, they would have mentioned it, rather than let all of this toxicity go on. Based on their complete lack of acknowledgment of the underlying problem, I don't have high hopes of a real fix anytime soon, if ever.

Survivors rely on ds, bt, and adrenaline. Maybe all those should be nerfed too? There are other perks that help you escape so survivors should not rely on these perks. See how that works?

Like what? Thana and Dying Light are bad. Effects are near negligible. The only one worth it is PGTW honestly and thats if you can get to the gen before they complete it. Devour Hope does stop gens but thats if it lasts and they dont find it. Corrupt can be good but mostly people just enter immense stealth for the duration. Thrilling doesnt help against gens they are working on. More of an information perk than slowdown.

At least I can justify my camping. When 3 gens pop before I hook someone, I'm going to lean back in my chair and take it easy on myself. This killer is going to play stress free regardless.

I'm pretty sure there are people like me who don't mind actually trying to adapt in place of the Killers who refuse. I need to get better anyway, might as well try different builds.

It's funny tho that ds, bt, adrenaline are perks designed to counter unfun killer tactics. Camping and tunneling. Adrenaline is a risk because your probably playing injured all game and hence a 1 hit down .
Ruin nerf will just seperate the really good killers from the ok ones that were crutching on it. So you lose a few ranks but they'll settle where they belong eventually.

People relied on [insert meta surviv perk here] too much. Sometims I feel like suvivors should learn how to not rely on it and use thr perks that relate to extending the chase.

BL got nerfed because it had a major secondary effect that was active even with the exhaustion debuff on you, and broke several maps. It's like if Sprint Burst always made your base running speed 105% or if Lithe made it so you can fast vault windows without the runup.

Ruin has always been over rated. On both ends.. Its was not THAT hard to work through. And ill normally clean all totems before the second gen. (Bye noed too) And well as killer i find it much easier and worthwhile to control gens and make u gen lock. And u. Come to me. Its a useless perk in my eyes more so now....

BL was nerfed because it gave a passive that no other exhaustion perk does. All they did was make it in line with other exhaustion perks, also BL made some loops essentially infinites.

No, the Ruin nerf wasn't made to "keep it in line with other hex perks"
The Devs stated that they were nerfing BL because it gave a passive effect that no other exhaustion perk gave.
Ruin was nerfed because survivors couldn't hit great skill checks, and it was "frustrating to go against for survivors and new players".

Adrenaline is absolutely not a response to unfun killer play. Perk is just obscenely strong. DS is sort of anti tunneling, but also survivors are dicks and will unhook each other literally in front of the killer without BT. That isn't the killer tunneling, your teammate is just bad. You almost have to protect yourself from other survivors moreso than the killer if you wanna play solo. BT being anti camping is meh. There are situations where you should camp. Last gen is almost done, hooked a survivor nearby, no need to leave that spot for at least 40 seconds(to check the other gens), especially if survivors are running around you like chickens with their heads cut off.

I just got a camping, teabagging Ghostface with a mori my last round.
Having no Ruin means so little. It’ll be business as usual as you stated. Killers and survivors are going to play the same way.
