Ruin can be buffed to really good state:

Devs can make it based on Dull Totems (cleanse all dull ones to disable the perk) so it will be LATE GAME PERK.

Or even remove "Hex:" from the Perk.

Maybe everything will be not so bad. Maybe. I hope.

    You do realize that even if they had a remote chance of being buffed, it's six to eight weeks, minimum, before the next chapter. That is nearly two months of very, very toxic play, and it is coming. By then, any chance of a Ruin buff will be buried under the thousands of 'nerf NOED, mories, sloppy, Devour, Third Seal, BBQ, Monstrous Shrine,' etc etc etc complaints.

    They nerfed it because everyone was running it. If they now buff it they will have achieved nothing.

    However, there is still a day for them to fix base-game gen times.
