Patch will Arrive Today (January 21); Tome II Officially Confirmed to Release Tomorrow (January 22)
According to the cinematic trailer, which was sent to the Fog Whisperers to livestream in advance of the release. I just watched it on Paulie Esther's channel, so here's my evidence for the titular claim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kxlZT9tJIM

EDIT: It has apparently just been confirmed that the patch will arrive at 11AM ET today, also on Paulie's stream.

I only hope some day we'll get actual cinematic trailers outside of chapter releases.

Mid-Chapter Patch drops today, Archives tomorrow. So at least new Lery's and Ruin/Doc changes :(

I mean... people in the chat are just players. They don't know that any more than we do (plus, Paulie literally just said he himself has no idea whether the Ruin changes will go through). Having said that, it does seem unlikely that they would pull the changes altogether. But we won't know until the patch notes come out whether adjustments have been made, and neither will anyone in the comments section of the stream.

Are the new comsetics for Plague, Demo and Legion coming with the patch or the rift?

We don't know yet. If they put Lunar New Year cosmetics in the Rift it's entirely possible Legion is included in the Rift release. But they could be distributed elsewhere.
Plague and Demo skins are likely shop skins and will be released weekly. In what order, we don't know.

Not sure. Those weren't Rift cosmetics, so they'll probably be available in the Store when they do arrive. According to the official release list for January 2020, there are cosmetic releases due on the 22nd and 29th. So most likely, those outfits will be coming to the Store on one of those two dates.

I'm actually pretty excited for the Doctor changes now. Can't wait to try them out! I have 200+ Scrapped Tapes ready to become Iridescent Queens.
The Rift does have a couple of Plague and Legion cosmetics, but they looked like reskins. Not sure if those are the ones you're talking about.
The Demogorgon cosmetics are most likely going straight to the store. I don't think licensed characters will appear in the Rift (probably due to licensing reasonings) and they weren't in the Rift when the PTB was live.

Thanks for the responses so fast! Also is the spirit bug getting patched with the update? I believe another killer also had a bug but I'm unsure.
No its a unique skin , not a reskin. At 5:00 is where the skin is at.

I love the effort BHVR are putting into expanding the lore, but the monotonous drone of the voice acting really makes their finished product feel quite lackluster. Listening to it, I don't feel like I'm inside the head of a character, but in the studio with the guy as he reads the lines off a script.

That was a link to Paulie Esther's stream. In it, he mentioned he was unsure whether the mid chapter patch was actually landing today. Where did you get the confirmation for today's patch? Just curious.

I didn't see any references to Spirit in the patch notes that I call recall. Which Spirit bug are you referring to?
