My number one issue with playing this game was that I wanted to play killer but there was literally no reward for doing so.
Winning is = Pipping.
A lot of killers seem bent out of shape about ruin and I totally get it. I really only find killer enjoyable on this game. Ruin was the only thing that gave you a chance to win with the old pipping system (besides having over 1000 hours in the game). It was so bad that you could totally destroy a team and then one person could have a key which made you lucky to safety pip.
And the devs history doesn't really make people feel all too comfortable. I know when I saw the Nurse nerf, then the spirit nerf, then the freddy hot nerf with no ptb I was PIIISSSSSED. I really wanted to quit the game and started finding new games to replace it.
However I had a game where 3 people escaped through the hatch with a key. I pipped for it. I ran dying light and had a 3 gen scenario with the windstorm addon on wraith. I finally can get rewarded for giving players a good game instead of getting punished for it.
Now if I play well, I get rewarded. If they play well, they get rewarded too.
Isn't this what a "casual" game is supposed to be all about?
Good games and being rewarded, grinding out levels and just enjoying the experience.
I have to say, I love the decision to fix gatekeeper and I'll be sticking around to see how the game is changed next patch. Thx devs.

I've played against more rank 1's than I have ever played against in my entire 1.5k hours.
The game is fundamentally broken, survivor red ranks queues will skyrocket eventually... its only a matter of time.
