Devs Please do something about the dcs
Can't even play a match without some entitled brat dcing because they hate the map, the killer found them first, or some other dumb crap. Please just do something this is getting way out of hand.

I know but its so frustrating to have a teammate dc. Like why waste time even playing the game when you dc more than you play.

I'm sure people would rather sit around making excuses for why we can't punish people for disconnecting with zero downside and making the game be ruined for 4 other people.

They are working on a DC penalty. It's just buggy right now

It's great to know that you're upset by dc's because others are too.. but it's just perfect that when survivors have the upper hand and are escaping the killer can dc and deny survivors blood points, completed challenges etc... so sorry it only affects you.
Really the dc issue is a pain yes. but it's not just one sided.

I said dcs in general were annoying i play both sides. Its annoying when anyone dcs in general. If you can't handle losing then they shouldnt be playing a game that relies on outplaying your opponent.

At least when the killer DCs you can just move on to the next game. A survivor DC ruins the game for the killer and survivors alike.

@Yung_Slug yes it's GREAT to go on to another match when you were almost to get the challege that says complete 1 gen with poised AND make it out, then the killer DC's... I'd love to hear you be the one that happens on. moving to the next match doesn't matter in these cases

@GhostofYharnam think what you will, I can ONLY read into your meaning so much or i can just take your text at face value and that is what I DID... I didn't try to put words into your mouth, if you had even mentioned survivor side as well some where in there i'd believe you but your first post was from a killer player's perspective ranting about survivors DC'ing. when called out on it you switched up and included survivors. yet you did so in a later post so my response is correct. sheesh.

Tbh it was from a survivors perspective the first part then when i said what other dumb reason is where i include any other reason killers or survivors dc for. Im not hear to argue with you.

@Pythonheir lol repeating what was said does not make it any clearer. if a killer dc's they don't keep the sac achievement in the tome as they don't get anything added in. I don't know if i should shake my head or to laugh.

I hope not. The current state of the game, I think anyone should just be allowed to DC whenever they feel like it. There is just too much BS in the game atm, I honestly don't hold it against anyone.
So much work needs to be done to make the game more fun, fair and enjoyable, before I would ever actually agree that punishing them for leaving is fine.
BHVR will probably bring it back soon though, and you'll get your way, so I wouldn't worry about that, but I think it's morally wrong to introduce it to the game in it's current state.
Yeah that is unfortunate, being able to DC from complete garbage matchups and trolling players, is about all that makes this game playable. But w/e, I know it's going to happen regardless. Probably going to keep punishing people for crashing on loading in too I bet....

Killer DC should count as escaping. I usually get the escape points for it. If the challenge doesn't work in that case, it should.

The idea that you feel you need to keep explaining yourself is the funny part, this entire time I have only agreed with you, and implied killers won't leave game so long as they get their archive.
