New Ruin is a big joke
It really is trash it's making me laugh even thinking about what their plan was. It's awful, and has almost no purpose.

I like it. Its weakest point is its lack of synergy with other perks.

Ive tried their combo idea with Billy and Oni but really thats not gonna help the slower killers much. Monto did a video showcasing it on Legion, so might try that out. Playing Legion though always frustrates me every time I decide to give it a go though...

The rank 18 new players monto tried it on gave bad data lol

Played some Survivor today. Gens popping left and right with the new ruin.
Laughed my way out the gates every time.

I'm curious if most of the people complaining on here actually play the game or just read patch notes. The new ruin is about as useful as the old ruin at high ranks. Neither one is really all that great, but killers are much better off now because they're not penalized by the rank system for losing gens early.

As long as it stays up, like no sarcasm it really is strong late game with a 3 gen.

I actually like the perk. It isn't something I would want to run 100% of the time on all killers which I would argue is a good thing. It does have amazing synergy with Surveillance, but it isn't required any more than Sloppy Butcher is required to be used with A Nurse's Calling. If it turns out that there is an actual problem with killers getting trounced w/o old ruin then hopefully the base game will get addressed instead of having a perk band-aid. I think it's a good change overall for the future health of the game. I was pretty critical of the announcement at first too.

I have had games where old ruin stayed up. Maybe 10 in 500 hours of killer. I have pulled off 4 Moris with devour hope. Once it 500 hours of killer. NOED is by far the strongest hex perk mostly because you don’t get the whole match to bump into it.
