Survivors quitting
Question for the community should a survivor that quits, should it count as a sacrifice? If a killer quits it counts as the survivors escaped so shouldn’t a killer get a sacrifice for a quitter instead as a quitter bonus? It just sucks going for a 4 sacrifice challenge and someone quits

It should imo yes but with the dc penalty being worked on they prob don't see a need to change it now.

I know they implemented the dc penalty to help with loss of BP but even now with the challenges, like sacrificing or killing survivors and when your carrying someone to the hook and they get super salty and rage quit. It just hurts the game in my opinion, with map design and now with ruin being nerfed the game is just heavily weighted in the survivors favour

Doesnt count as an escape for challenges....
Had a killer DC and didnt give progress for it.

I don't know about counting as a sacrifice, but if you get a DC, you should be immune to depipping as killer. If more than 1 person DC's, everyone else should be guaranteed a black pip.

It's depressing going for a Adept Achievement to have someone disconnect on you and deny it. Most perks are hot garbage. Being high rank Killer with bad (and typically not cooperative to each other) perks makes it hard enough already.

That’s weird cuz it had counted for me before. My fiancé and I are trying for the four basement sacrifice challenge right now and every time someone DC’s. New proposal: when someone DC’s it counts as a sacrifice at the closest hook so if they are near the basement it would be a basement sacrifice

I don’t think this is asking too much as survivors are already op with map design (yamokas is just unreal) and loops just need something to help out a little bit

I honestly don't understand why they do it anyway. They lose all BP for the match, and for what? To screw a killers challenges? It just shows the mentality of a lot of players these days.

It may say escape, but it doesn't count toward like rift and dailies as an escape. I was at the end of a match (I should have just run out the door but I saw a totem and the killer was chilling by the last person on hook, so I figured I had time so I cleansed it), but then the killer DC'd before I actually left the map, so I didn't get my escape toward my rift count. Jokes on me - I haven't been able to escape a match since lmao.
In general I don't get DC-ing. I saw someone DC right as they were about to be sacrificed, and it's like?? Just wait two seconds rather than being stupid.

They can't allow this remember. If they even witness the slightest little bit of Entity swooping them up into the sky, their precious egos shall shatter! Best to let them bleed out on the floor. That may be a nicer way for them to die! 😏

Lmao I love getting mori’d I mean I’d rather live but if I’m gunna die I like the animations and I guess I just didn’t realize that when the killer quit I didn’t get an escape
