Yes. I've had to block comments on my steam because of this game. A lot of the time I have to close the in game chat, because of the people in this game.

are you on consoles I am on ps4 I have them on so I can laugh when I get salt, and then make them feel stupid coz 9/10 people that message me do not have no Brain cells

I have gotten it on both consoles. It's really not healthy to see so much hate so I'm seriously contemplating just turning them off. For me it really gets to me the fact that people can be so cruel over a video game, video games are supposed to be fun

@DalauanDivine I’d turn them off them, sadly we live in a time we’re people can’t just play a game they have to send troll messages and so on, I’m so used to hate messages/ talking crap I just laugh but I can understand how it effects others, I’ve actualy reported a few people because of racist things they have said , if it’s ps4 you can report ppl using the psn message system but it has to be legit offence that doesn’t comply with there terms and conditions

@whattheheck123 that’s good I get messaged as a survivor from team mates “ you noob you left me to die” erm I’m death hook no borrowed time and I’m hurt me coming to get you off hook is not the best idea dude😂 that’s why it makes me laugh the iq of people who play this game it brings me enjoyment on a bad day lool

Sometimes I will type a song lyric to confuse them but sometimes their ignorance gets to me. I'm just so tired of being shamed for playing the game.
There's no reason for these people to message strangers with disgusting text over a video game if you do that and you are a adult it's just not very mature. I also don't like the fact people can sit from the comfort of their basements and give other people hate

I turned em off after I got called a douchebag for playing Legion.
Idgaf what anyone says, but if it prohibits me from playing another game (Because PSN gives a loud notification and blocks a chunk of your screen for messages) due to hate spam, I'll turn that ######### off for a few days. I'll probably end up reverting it back in a few days.

If you play killer and you tunnel and camp then yes. However if you play "fair" then also yes.

loool Brilliant. I messaged a survivor the other night saying 'Good effort' since the other two survivors were of the potato variety died instantly and this dude still got the killer to chase him while i repaired 2 gens, he messaged back saying was that sarcasm. He said it made his day when i said i was actually being genuine.

Yeah I also like to send my teammates the same, it’s nice to open one and it’s someone saying thank you for saving them or well played it reminds me that not everyone who plays this game is salty

Yes. This game is extremely toxic and if you play killer it will be Non stop hate messages. Turn it off and live a happy life ;)

I keep mine on in any game I play because I enjoy friendly conversations with people and I enjoy watching salty people get destroyed by logic and reason.
